I have been trying to update the social media icons in the bezel theme with aria-labels in the tags to make the page ADA compliant (Something that should probably be included in the parent theme code).
I have input the same file structure core > inc > helpers.php and updated the “bezel_social_footer” function with an added aria-label=”‘.$social[‘name’].'” I have made a footer.php file that will overwrite the parent footer.php file. However, it seems as though the child theme files are not overriding the parent theme files when they are within a folder structure (i.e. core > inc > filename.php). Is there something I am missing?

For some time now we’ve been having issues with our website. When viewed on mobile devices all the formatting is wrong. Menus show as a text list and any theme colurs and flow just don’t show up.
We’ve tried changing themes several times but the result is always the same.
The only thing that works is to request the desktop site (for example in Chrome on Android you check the box in settings) and then deactivating that. Then the mobile reponsive version shows up.
None of us have any experience coding but can navigate the admin section and are comfortable making changes to advanced settings in plugins etc,
SPeaking of plugins, we even tried disabling all of them last week but the problem remained.
If anyone could give us a clue as to what could be going wrong we’d be eternally grateful.

is it possible to make the area of the whole panel (the posts in my start page which contains featured image, title, meta, read more – the part which is in the div post-content-wrapper) as an link to the post instead of the read more button and remove this button? So I can click anywhere on the panel to get to this post content…
