I recently switched to Benevolent theme and my mobile header is rendering when it’s not supposed to.
You can see on the page a header, a large space, and then another header. When I look in the console I can see that the first header is the mobile header and the second is my main. I’ve updated everything, cleared the cache, went through all of my style sheets with a fine tooth comb and nothing.
It appears that it’s trying to render my static home page but failing and rendering my mobile header instead? I have my reading settings set to display a static page. I have the static page set to my homepage page that I created. I have the template type on my home page set to “home page”.
Can anyone help?

]]>Hi, using Benevolent theme. The banner image seems to have shrunk itself, it used to be full width of the page and the size of the original file is 999 x 257. This is a recent thing .. it used to be fine. Have tried to edit the image size in css but it is not allowing the width I want. Anything I can do to stop the theme shrinking the image?

because when I updated the version of the theme, came back with an image of the logo much smaller than the one used before.

Today we published a blog post, and after publishing, the blog section on the “Home” page went from having blog articles side by side to having one normal sized blog article and two appearing in unnaturally thin boxes underneath the normal sized blog post. I was wondering if there was any way I could fix this or prevent it? I’ve disabled the blog section on the site for now because of this error. Thanks for any help or advice!

I am trying the theme (free vesion), which is great! I set up the slider with the recommended size for the pictures. But when the slide appears it hides the main menu. I see in the version live that the menu appears but in my case it goes under the slide.

]]>Hi, the sidebar on the Shop page is placed under the products instead of on the right side. The sidebar is fine on every page except this one. Also, I can’t change it into a custom sidebar, it just shows the default sidebar. Any help is appreciated!
FYI, I used the following code in the custom css:

}
It helped to bring the sidebar to the right, but it’s not mobile friendly and I can’t change it from the default sidebar. I am using WooCommerce.

But. I think I’m about to cry.
Changed all css on the Benevolent theme and wanting to get ready adding content. Always fun.
I looked for a responsive desgin in the first place.
But now after all my work I found out Benevolent has a menu that becomes a pull down menu, even when the screensize is still pretty big (800×1280).
And to make it worse, the submenu and topmenu become two different pull down menu’s ( well not even pulldown, its double click, by that time visitors have gone!). One left and one right.
Imo very user unfriendly because people don’t want to have to look in two menu’s to find what they need. For sure it would irritate me.

First I want to say that this is one of the best themes I’ve ever seen. I’m really grateful that you’ve released a theme like this for free.
Now to my question.
I want to make the slider button to send visitors (who click on it) to a landing page and not to a post. Is it possible? I guess it is, but I have no idea how to do it.
Your theme is still new, but I’m sure that a lot of your future users will want to do the same thing.
The theme is perfect for personal and corporate websites and a lot of people will want to send their visitors to a landing page (not a post).
I think it would be great if you add that option in one of the future updates.
But for now, can you tell me what I need to do to enable the slider to take information from pages rather than posts? Or just change the button link. So when someone clicks on it, to be sent to a particular page and not to the post in the slider.
Any suggestions? I know I’m asking for a lot, but I’m sure the answer to my question will help many other people in the future.
