Este tema me encantaba. Es precioso pero por alguna razón no es responsive trabajando con liveworksheets. Busqué ayuda y soluciones pero al final tuve que cambiar de tema. Los demás temas que probé funcionaron perfectamente menos este. Espero que se solucione este problema en una próxima actualización.

Customer > Content Options is not available in the downloadable theme the way it is supposed to be in the WordPress.com version:

Baskerville 2 supports all Content Options, including the ability to display your choice of full post content or excerpts on the blog and archives.

As a result, there is no way to display excerpts on the home page (when recent posts is chosen).

This option was available until a recent update. Now broken.

I love the clean simple layout, but the mere fact that the header image MUST be shaded knocks this theme out of being useful to me. My clients don’t want their logo or art work shaded out. Support says shading can only be removed in the premium theme.

I like this theme. It is clear on all different post-types. Nice.
(After a re-upload the author-template also works, I don’t know why it does not after first upload.)
I think it would be nicer, if the theme respect the admins configuration for date-format also in masonry-view on both the home and the author template. But this is a minor criticism.

For individual styling I simply use a child-theme. I think to make your blog your own style, it is necessary to choose your own colors and individual adds. For a theme who presents your whole blog a few hours of customization a really okay.

I love the clean look of this theme, but do not like that I cannot change the color or sizes of the fonts, nor can I add plugins, no place to do so that I can find. Maybe these things can be done, but it is not something I have been able to figure out.

This is a great topic to start any wordpress install, looks great and looks good for any purpose. Just… I wish it was easier to change the colours as it is a quick and easy way to customize it not breaking anything – but you really have to dig deep to do this.

I would pay a couple bucks for an option to change the accent color to be added in the UI.

I just installed this theme for a blog with several dozen posts. I love the simplicity, unusually good typographic settings, and it’s user friendly. But one thing that drove me up the wall is having to manually find and change dozens of css selectors in a child theme to modify the color palette. If you don’t want the deep navy, seafoam green, and gray palette, you’ll have a ton of work to do. It would have been SO MUCH EASIER if the creator had used the customizer and the Options Framework to enable users to easily change the colors of links and hover colors throughout from a Customizer setting. (Also frustrating is that the author’s seafoam green is hard-coded into some of the icons).

I realize most people will be delighted with this theme; only a few will be like me, a graphic designer and artist who wants to have more control over color palette to match my branding and logo.

I absolutely LOVE this theme. I’ve been suffering for weeks trying to find a proper theme for my blog. Every single one I’ve tried, although looks great in theory, once activated on my .com site it just looked like sh**.
I then came about Baskerville – and it was heaven!
Easy to use.
Love the look and feel. Very elegant.
Amazing space in both sidebar + 3 different footer areas.
Love the fact that you have an automatic writer bui showing at the end of the blog posts.
Love the comments layout.
Love the home page layout.
Love the archive template.
Love all the different page options you have for blog posts.
And most of all – can’t believe it’s FREE!

Seriously Andres – you can be really proud of what you created here!

Love the look of this theme but can I disable the wordings in the header?

I’m using it on a WordPress.com blog so can’t easily edit the theme files/css etc.

Would be great if we could also pick custom colors instead of having to pick individual colors.

This theme looks awesome and although it isn’t easily customisable, we have to remember this is a free theme, and one that looks better than a lot of paid themes out there. My main gripe was the lack of a sidebar on the homepage, but this can be added with a little bit of hacking. Overall its definitely one of the best looking themes out there. Great job.

I love the look of this theme, but there are some simple customizations I wanted to make and even with help from the support forum, I can’t get it to work. You have to be comfortable with coding to be able to customize this theme at all. Very disappointed, going to look for a simpler theme to use.

Beautifully attractive theme. The masonry layout works well on a site with many posts, especially with lots of images. The theme has limited customisation options, but is easy to make alterations to with a child theme.

I was using this developer’s Garfunkel theme on my site [ link redacted, please do not post links in reviews ] before but this theme is even better! This dude makes some amazing free themes, I especially like the footer and the clean minimal design. Again, thank you Anders!

Baskerville was highly recommended to me for a tiled mosaic layout, and it’s a good starting point, but needs a bit of work. Like wottow, I’ve encountered minor errors for which I have not gotten support. I don’t expect a lot in a free theme, but there is no attention to any customization options, beyond the WP defaults. The CSS is well organized for customizing with a child theme, but the HTML/CSS structure is not optimized for childing.

I tried Anders Norens Garfunkel theme but was not quite satisfied. This however has got it all for me, even though I am not into pinterest, but rather am more of a blogger. The masonry is an option I could not do without and the rest works fine.
