my site is pinggolfclubs.org In the side bar I used the txt widget and a herf code for each link. Under drivers they all work except for the link for “Ping I15 Drivers”. If you click on it straight from the homepage it works fine, but I you visit one of the other pages first like “Ping G20 Drivers: then click “Ping I15 Drivers”, it takes you to a picture of the golf club instead of the article. Near the top it shows the title if you click it, it will take you to the page.

also does this with the first 3 under ping irons.

I updated my website to the latest version of WordPress. Therefore, I lost a lot of the customization of my site. One major problem is I need to widen my site. I would like to make it full screen. It is making my header image pixelated and stretched awkwardly. I am very new at wordpress. I found the full width template page in editor, but have no idea what to do next or how to implement it. Am I on the right track? What should I do?

Also, I would love to get rid of the bar underneath the navigation bar that says what page you are currently on and any parent pages that it may have. Any suggestions?

I am trying to make the entry-title larger, without everything else being made lager as well. The below works, with the side effect of all links in the page get larger as well.

I am trying to get the header image to 300px height.

I have created a child theme. and added the following

/* make the header higher  */
#custom-header {
background-color: #337FDA;
height: 300px;
width: 940px;
}

The background color got higher, but the image didn’t. I have added the image after the code.

Any ideas ?

I started building my website with Basically and it was a good place to start considering my lack of experience and knowledge of building a WordPress website. However, I have learned that as good as Basically is, it does not meet my needs for ecommerce, i.e. I have a small business where I sell wood art products. Woocommerce has a free theme ‘mystile’ and I have read good reviews about the theme for small businesses.

How do I change from Basically theme to the Woocommerce theme mystile? Is it as simple as uninstall Basically and install mystile?

Because I am building my website myself, and I have some experience but rather little, I am depending on tutorials, asking questions, etc. I appreciate the Blue Host tutorials which helped me get all the way through with my website up and running ~ still needing more attention but at least complete at this point.

My business is handcrafting wood art, i.e. I will have a small amount of inventory and most items will be special order. I would like to know if the theme I have chosen, Basically, is a good choice for the type of my business? Or should I consider another theme now while I am just getting started? One of the reasons was it has a lot of “white” which I was told once is good to have. At first I considered a theme that was all brown color since I work with wood. But all brown was too dark.

The Leave a reply / box is on the About page and I want to remove it. I am watching a Bluehost tutorial video that says turn off discussion. However my dashboard does not have the same “tools” as is seen in the tutorial.

So how can I remove the Leave a reply box from the About page?

Can the text which is above the header image be edited for color and font selection? My site is https://www.philcollinsstudio.com. The header image is a rectangle box containing “Phil Collins Studio.” Above this image to the left side is Phil Collins Studio. I would like for the text to be same color as is the header. How do I edit the text?

Hey there, is it possible to change the Fore-ground color? I can only change the colour of the text, but looking to change the fore-ground color from the standard white. Has any one been able to do this? Thanks in advance ??

Is there a way (I assume with CSS) I can change the foreground of this theme?
bonus: I’d also like to be able to change the button/row colors (of “Home”, “Links”, “About Me”) if someone would know how I could do that.

I want to make the header image taller, and i figured that part out. I am having an issue of moving all the page elements down as well so that my image doesn’t overlap any of the elements. Is this possible to do?

Petiteallie.com is my site. I don’t have the bigger header back on there, if you want me to do it again so that you can see what I mean I am willing to do it.

I have a great image that I am using as my header. However, I also want to have a site title and tagline so that search engines can find my site. How do I hide my site title and tagline from visitors to my site and not search engines. I have tried looking around on the internet but have found nothing that helps with this theme in particular. Any help is much appreciated.

I updated the theme and now the site title has moved. Before it was overlayed with my custom header picture and now it come up above the picture.

Any idea how I can change the position back to where it was before?

Hi everybody
I’d like to know if it is possible to remove the photo banner from my Basically theme homepage (I have a static page as homepage). I know I can choose whether to have a picture or not inside the banner but if no picture is selected I get a black blank space; instead what I need is to actually remove the banner to have the content starting just below the site title.
Is this possible and how??

Change To:
$name = __(‘Home’);

I think it can better support for multiple languages。

Ocassionally I use photos in my blog posts. When I add a caption to the photo, a very wide and black border is created around the photo which is inconsistent with the look and feel of the rest of the theme.

Is there any way to modify this border to a lighter color?
