Hello, Thank you for this amazing theme!
I’m a fresher to wordpress, recently I’m using it to help my friend to build her first website, I try to put a logo to replace the text on the left top, I didn’t find the option in my Appearance menu or in the customized menu, so I tried several plugins, but the code they provide doesn’t match what I find in the header.php file.

I find the code to control the specific header I want to change is as below, Hope some one could help me. I want to change the text at top-left of home page into the brand’s logo.

Hello, I like this template, but I don’t know why I have this problem:
Whatever I write in Title and Description, I don’t get anything.
Title remains “My site”, and description remains “MyDescription”, and so other parts of header.
I know there must be a solution, but I’m a newby… please help!

Hey guys. Im making a website for my dads company. And he would like if I could remove the page title in the header… I have tryed all types off CSS code.. But none of it worked.. So now im asking if you guys could help?? Im using the theme Atomic, and a example is: antispin.dk/?page_id=18

All of a sudden I seem to have a side left margin on my header-desc-wrap that appears in mobile view. This only seemed to happen recently as all was working well for quite some time. I can’t seem to see where this error has occurred. Could you please take a look?

just starting using your theme. I had to change themes for a site as I was using Cannyon by Mythemes but i was fed up with their support dept’s lack of response. i like it. but i need to find a plug in to add a sidebar i think.

My question, whats that little log in in tiny blue text just above the header ?

And my main question is there a way of NOT having the titles of each page showing on the image at the top & instead keeping the home page image with text & both buttons ?

I would like to use (for example) for each primary sites a different but specific picture in the header/banner.

Is this possible? and how i can do that?

(Also, i would ask if its possible to make these “responsive” so if i marge the desctop size or open the site on a mobile device this headerpicture stay full visible)

I am using a child theme for the Atomic theme and am trying to get the white text that displays the Header Text (Front Page) to move to a different location. I want the text to be a little further to the left. I have tried editing just about everything in style.css and can’t find the right spot.

Anything would help! Also, I responded to another thread trying to clear out the overlay in .overlay but setting the opacity to 0.0 isn’t working either.

I am having trouble getting a sidebar to show on my posts page. I have tried installing a widget but still my post takes up the full page.
Is there a way to show a sidebar only on the posts page?

Everything works great on computer screens but on my phone and my tablet the copyright information does not appear. The footer widget contains a search box and that is there but the footer is not black and the copyright text is missing. I have used this for a disclaimer which needs to be present on every page on every device.

The site just went live ?? but I noticed that when you use the search box the page that is returned includes some of the excerpt text out to the right of the page and then continues below the title. Any clue as to how I can fix this? The articles page which also shows excerpts doesn’t do this. Thanks.

Quick question. There is a large space at the top of every page, below the header, before the text is rendered. I would like to move the text up higher on the page, closer to the bottom of the header. I commented out the content padding in style.css which moved it up a little but I would like to close that gap. How can I accomplish this?

I’m wanting to increase the space between the page title and page description. I thought adding a margin in page-title would be the way to do this but it didn’t work. Suggestions please?

Newer posts, Older posts, xyz post etc. I prefer the term “articles” to posts — can this be modified?

I have comments turned off both globally and individually.

When I go to a post it either says “COMMENTS OFF” (those created after I globally turned off comments) or there is a non-functional link “LEAVE A COMMENT” (those with the Quick Edit Allow Comments unchecked).

How can I remove both of these?

Is it possible to add a search box in the menu?

I tried to add a child theme and lost everything (obviously I did something major wrong!) but have it all back now.

Hi again —

1. On the Posts page in the header is says “category” and then the name of the category. I would like just the name of the category and I would like it the same size as the titles in the headers on the pages. Also, I would like to remove the heading just above the first post where it repeats the name of the category again.
2. I would like to have a contact me form on a page — is there a plugin you recommend?

I am trying to move the navigation bar to the bottom of the header, same side, but just on the bottom. Every time I try to modify the padding my background image stretches out.

I am new at this, so any feedback would be very appreciated.

Hi Kyle,

I love the look of your theme, and have found it easy to use. The one issue I’ve run into is when I view my page on my android phone the menu icon (three horizontal bars) shows up in the browser but nothing happens when I click it. What am I missing? Is there a setting somewhere for this, I’ve looked all over, but can’t seem to find anything.

Love the Theme!!! I added a header image and choose none for the overlay getting. It works ok, but if the image has a white background, or a transparent background it seems to be overlaid in a gray.

Can you please tell me if this is a known issue with an overlay setting of ‘none’, or is there something I need to do to my image?

Hi Kyle, I absolutely adore your theme. I used it for my own homepage at leiteritz.com

I have to issue, maybe you have an idea:

– On mobile, the menu is not working (no hamburger but rather an X) — not sure whether this is theme related though
– On my sub-pages the big header heading seems to be Arial — is there a way to manually change the font for that (you can see it if you click on “open source”, “investor” etc.

Thank you for sharing your atomic theme. I appreciate it’s minimal and easily customizable style. I’m new to creating a WP site and have a few questions that are probably a bit simple:

• The header image of the pink sea anemones: How does one change/eliminate that picture? I don’t see it referenced anywhere in a customized panel or atomic options.
• The text box/link in the upper left: I see how to change it in the atomic options but when I try to eliminate it The box and link remain. How do I delete the whole thing? Is it in the CSS?
• In preview mode, the menu is under a three bar click and display symbol yet when the site is actually loaded, the menu displays across the top and the three bars are missing. How do I choose the three bars at all times?

Hi, New WordPress guy here with limited code kung-fu.
I just rebuilt my business website (pianoservice.ca) in WP using a found template of Atomic, which I dig. I have most of the bugs worked out, one thing I would like to do is reduce the size of the title (currently occupied by my name). The issue is that when I view it in portrait view on my phone (Android), it overlaps the menu button, which is not ideal.

The option to reduce the size of the title is not offered in the theme editor, unless obviously I do it right in the code, which is “strongly discouraged”, unless of course you know exactly where to look and what to change. Now that I am 98% happy with the site I would really prefer not to cock it up by incorrectly editing the code!

I have been told to create a child theme (which I am currently learning what that is)…so let’s see what happens next!
