Hope Valentin or someone else finds a fix, but right now at least for me updating to WordPress 6.6 breaks the submenus of the menu. You can only click the pages, not subpages as the menu doesn’t open anymore.

I am using the Atahualpa theme on WordPress. The Atahualpa Theme Options have frozen on “Start.”

The problem may have arisen when I switched browsers. I recently bought a new iMac and the OS (10.15.6) had a conflict with my browser, Firefox, so I trashed Firefox and reverted to Safari. However there are no error messages, so I’m only guessing.

Any help unfreezing the options would be greatly appreciated.

If yopu use Crayon syntax highlighter, or its new version Urvanov syntax, you will experience that the dark themes work weird.

You just need to disable the Zebra and/or the Hover in the tables config option.

I have created a new footer using ‘insert headers & footers’ plugin. However, I can’t get rid of the original footer. It’s not in the theme widget (can only find where to update header and left right sidebars but not for footer)

I recently updated my webpage to the latest Atahualpa version, and all my photos from the theme disappeared; I can no longer log onto the FTP server to change the theme photos. My main question is this: why can I add photos to posts or menus without going on the server, but I can’t add photos for the banner images or other theme images? Very clunky design…

This site was not updated for the longest time. I updated all plugins, WP and theme.

All seems to work except the top main menu will not display.

I turned off all plugins. Still no help.

Recently I noticed that none of my posts is showing the comments box. It used to be there and readers were able to leave comments and ask questions. Now they can’t. I am using the atahualpa theme. Please suggest a remedy. Thanks.

I have the lastest version of WP and all plugin and themes are updated.

Using Atahualpa, and with both plugin “MapPress Easy Google Maps” and “WP Google Maps”
the map is not showing.

If I switch to two other themes “Tempera” and “Twenty Fifteen” map is showing without problems.

I tried disactivate all other plugin then the “map plugin” but using Atahulapa the map still not showing. Here is a page, map would be at the bottom of the page:

There must be some conflict/something missing between Atahualpa and both plugin “map plugins”? Someone can help? A big THX to the author of this great theme!

I notice that there’s a second menu called Menu 2, but when I add items to the new menu I made and add it to Menu 2, I don’t see anything different. Where is the Menu 2?

I use Huge-IT Gallery plugin in my website (conference.systemdynamics.org). The result is a total mess. I contacted their supporting team and this is their response:

“we also noticed that js files of our theme is not called in your site, the reason is your theme, please could you contact you theme and inform of this issue, they should allow our js file work on the template”

Can’t save footer changes: when hitting the big green “Save Changes” button on the Atahualpa Options page, a popup appaers saying that I choose to open “themes.php” and asking what to do with it, either open or save on my computer.

Possible permission issue on the server? I don’t have server access and Atahualpa version is 3.7.24.

How can I simply add Blog category to main nav bar? WP via Appearance–>Menus has no impact.

When I go into Theme Options, Menu 1 and Menu 2 pertain to Page Menu and Category Menu. Site is currently using Menu 1 (Page Menu) – can I have a hybrid?

I cannot locate an answer, or even this question, via Google search.

Hi, is Atahualpa dead? It hasn’t been updated in a long time now. I’ve used this theme heavily on many sites and now I have a problem involving it. My typical troubleshooting begins with updating everything (well, after a backup). And I’m surprised to see Atahualpa looks to have stagnated. Any thoughts?

Have been in the ata-Style/Edit Header Area and tried to change font size of my Blog Title. I can change the tag title size OK but the Blog title proving stubborn. I have tried to increase the 240% font size default – and even tried an ’em’ value but I got nothin’

There doesn’t seem to be a H1-6 value list in the stylesheet for Ata so am a bit at a loss.

I would like to report an error in the footer.php.
I realized that when Event Calendar WD plugin is used with theme, right sidebar disappear when single event is shown.
The problem is a line code in top of footer.php file.
Commenting the follow line of code, the problem will be solved.

It seems that this theme isn′t compatible with PHP7.

Is there an update or fix?

It was brought to my attention that your theme uses an insecure method to include CSS from other plugin files. I have seen my exploits involving malicious PHP code in CSS files, this is only a problem if those files are referenced by an include statement because the include function executes PHP code.

Example from line 1999-2000 of css.php:

if (function_exists('wp_pagenavi')) {
include (WP_PLUGIN_DIR.'/wp-pagenavi/pagenavi-css.css');

This statement could also cause a PHP error if the folder for the wp-pagenavi plugin was renamed or if another plugin uses a function called “wp_pagenavi”. To fix both the bug and the security vulnerability here you should change this code (and all the other lines like it) to something like this:

if (is_file(WP_PLUGIN_DIR.'/wp-pagenavi/pagenavi-css.css') && function_exists('wp_pagenavi')) {
echo file_get_contents(WP_PLUGIN_DIR.'/wp-pagenavi/pagenavi-css.css');

The menu (top page) is showing not properly the arrows for the sub-menu in some cases; I mean:
– for HOME, arrow is present, but no sub-menu is setted
– for APPUNTI, no arrows are present, but I’ve setted (as you can see hovering the label APPUNTI) several sub-menus
and other similar cases.

This situation seems present (but I’m not so sure) when I’ve updated WordPress to version 4.4…

After a couple months of not logging in, I have just discovered that my header is completely missing. I am running Atahualpa theme. The last time I logged in, I set it to update WordPress and themes automatically. I’m assuming the loss took place during the last update. How do I fix this? Hello good WordPress people — I’m stumped, and need help in updating the page links in my site navigation.

For years I have updated the page links through Tools > Page Links. Never had a problem. Now when I check boxes to update the links, nothing happens.

FYI, I have downloaded the Link Manager plugin. Hosting is GoDaddy and theme is Atahualpa. I’ve cleared caches and tried multiple browsers, so that’s not the problem.

I can’t seems to make the category menu (%cats) stay below the horizontal bar (%bar2). The category names cause the category menu to expand and overlap the bar. It didn’t used to be like that — is it an intentional design change or a bug? I’m just repairing my sites following an update — not sure if it was Atahualpa or WP — that caused all kinds of havoc. This is the last bit that I can’t seem to put back like it was.

Also, there was once a bullet option for lists of links and feeds, but I don’t see it anymore. Am I missing it or was it eliminated?
