Hi,
I use Alto Focus on my website, but as I started adding posts with Featured Images, to build an art gallery, I was surprised to see them displaying oddly. Before building my website, I did a test run with the wordpress.com version of the theme, to get familiar with the dashboard and features. It all worked smoothly: the grid seemed to favor stacking the posts in columns, so they would all have the same maximum width, but could have varied heights.
As you can see on my homepage, the theme seems to instead favor rows, and while all the posts have the same max width, things get wonky as they are still allowed to have varied heights, resulting in overlapping.
I don’t have access to the wordpress.com version of the code, but I do have access to the theme files installed on my site. Is there any way to solve this issue?
]]>Im looking to use Altofocus becasue of multi column grid that has an attractive flexibility on image ration and size (I cant find another recent template that has this)
Does anyone know if the images visible on the grid can be gifs?
Also, I realise it hasn’t been updated for a long time – is this already a problem with recent versions of WordPress and the future? I have only just set up an account so am on 5.9.3.
Any help much appreciated!
]]>I’ve been having problems with the overlapping posts on my site. When I click “Older Posts” at the bottom, the next 10 posts over lap the first 10 posts. This happened on my desktop and laptop. It’s worse on my iPhone. Browser is Safari.
]]>Love this theme, but I would like to have a sidebar on posts and pages. I have created a child them and edited the php file to add a sidebar but it doesn’t seem to work. in digging through the theme files I found _sidebars.scss which contains the following css
/*————————————————————–
## Sidebars
————————————————————–*/
.no-sidebar .content-area {
float: none;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
Is this causing the widget area to not show in the dashboard or am I doing it all wrong?
I love the front page with the grid lay-out. I also want a more classic category page for news items. Is this possible?

]]>Does anybody know what code can I insert into my Child Theme’s Editor, which will change “Written by Shapeshifter 3″ into “Posted by Shapeshifter 3″ ?
]]>I’m trying to affix the website description directly underneath the website title, however, as it’s responsive, when viewed in anything widescreen (e.g. desktop) the description displays NEXT to the site title (on right hand side).
I want it to always appear underneath, as it does on mobile view.
Is there any CSS code for this? I’ve been trying to days and haven’t got any further.
Thanks!
