Using one of the codes here I made the mobile (burger) menu appear earlier with smaller screen sizes. The code worked well so now menu button appears exactly when I want.

Unfortunately, the button itself doesn’t work on web browser when I’m using laptop. After clicking no menu appears so it is not-clickable.

(when using phone it’s no such problem)

While doing some SEO audit today it showed me warning that the button dosn’t have a correct name. The below line was mentioned in the report:

[button id=”menu-mobile-open” class=” menu-mobile-open menu-mobile-toggle”][/button]

Maybe that’s an issue here, not sure.

Hello, I have got a problem with my menu. It is nice on fullscreen desktop display, but when the windown gets smaller, the menu does not fit anymore and it appears on two lines. When it gets even smaller the mobile menu is displayed. How can I get the mobile menu to appear earlier when the windows size gets smaller?

I am using a flotheme Theme where I already tried to fix this in simple CSS.

One of my subcategories contains more than 20 items, making the dropdown menu very long and not fully visible for the user. I’m using the code from the previous thread but is it possible to get two equal columns that does not gradually sprawl. I have a page, and a services with the same name. Before, when I clicked on the services I was forwarded to the page (where I have all the info). When I click I’m has been forwarded to “Services” where there isn’t information.

I use the Ascendant child theme of Allegiant. For blog post featured images, I size my images to 778 wide as that is the max width on post pages. At full browser width, feature images on post pages look correct and reduce correctly as browser width reduces.

The problem is that on the Blog page, the theme seems to pull an alternate/smaller (600×400) version of the image (one which does not appear in my Media Gallery).

Moreover, the HTML/CSS on the blog page then does some sort of resizing and the image gets not only skewed but cropped. And looks really bad.

I used to optimize my featured images to 600×400 so that they would look good on the Blog page, but then they were resized and looked bad on the individual post page.

I cannot find any way to override this in the Customization UI or in CSS. If I use Chrome Inspector to temporarily revised the URL on the Blog page to the “regular” version of the image (the one in my Media Gallery that appears on the actual post page), it renders fine and resizes correctly.

Why is this happening? Is there a way I can override or a fix the theme can make?

And I also want to change Button Color for the Tagline Button.

Since the home page is a little long, I was hoping to use anchor links to make it easier to navigate. However I found instructions on how to do this for a regular page, but I don’t know how to do it for the home page elements.

Ie. I want to make a link in the top menu that takes me straight to the services section on the home page.

Fairly new to wordpress. and I am using the Allegiant Pro.
I want to change the permalinks of the Portfolio pictures from my home page. Right now, they are random permalinks that bring you to a 404 page. However I have created pages that I want to link directly to my pictures? How can I can this? When I try to edit the Portfolio items, it only lets me change half of the permalink.

I am working on a website, and am using the free version of Allegiant.

I want to change green as the secondary colour. It shows up in the Services, Portfolio sections, as well as when you select text, buttons, etc. I want all of this to be a different colour (orange) instead.

I tried to uninstall Allegiant (with demo content) completely by switching to another theme and deactivating Allegiant plugins, but I still get links to ‘Portfolio’ and ‘Services’ and such – and they are not in Categories. How do I remove these?

I’ve added a logo into the header container and now it’s breaking the main navigation menu. Full screen is no problem, but as the browser window shrinks in size, the nav menu breaks the line at a certain width when it gets too close to the logo (so now the logo is in the top left and the nav menu floats bottom right and they are stacked on top of each other). If you keep shrinking the page, eventually the hamburger mobile menu (three lines) will pop up.

What do I need to change to get the responsive hamburger menu to pop up sooner and prevent the line break? With my intermediate knowledge of coding, I think it has something to do with “@media screen and (max-width: 800px)”? I’ve tried adjusting this but nothing works. How can I adjust the width? Thanks in advance.

I want to set up unique widgets/sidebars on my services and portfolio pages. I am using Content Aware Sidebars Plugin. I have not been able to get it right. Wondering if anyone else has. And if so which plugin did you use

I have events and posts that I want to only appear on specific service and portfolio pages. The default sidebars appear without a problem – but then I have every event and post appearing on every page. Whatever I do I cannot get the Content Aware sidebars to work (I am left with a blank widget space). I’m wondering if the plugin does not work with Allegiant. And if so what plugin are you using that does work.

There are 2 problems that i’ve tried to solve for a while:

1. The background image in desktop looks great due to the the parallax effect, but it does not render properly in mobile (it does not resize). Does anyone know who to make the background image responsive in mobile so it shows in full at the top of the page?

2. Because of this same issue (resize), the top image in my inner mobile pages are showing only the the top part of the background image and it looks weird. I added a header image thinking that it would replace the background image in those inner pages but it does not. I actually cannot even see where those that header image I uploaded took effect.

I would like to change the font in the tagline title to “normal” = lower case letters.
I also would really love to know how to put paragraphs (or at least place holders) in via the customizer. If its only possible with additional CSS I am glad too ??
