I’m getting the following error when I go to customise top navigation:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/emrais/public_html/ii/wp-content/themes/follet/includes/customizer.php on line 43
The error appears where the nav bar should be. I can get it to go away by commenting out line 43 in customizer.php, but the nav bar itself also disappears, regardless of if show navigation is checked.
]]>Hi there,
I would like to replace the text of title of the site with my logo.
How can I do that?
I tried to edit the parent theme Follett’s custom-header.php but I don’t see any result.
Thank you.
]]>Hello,
How can I stop the header image from scrolling in this theme?
Also I do like to give the image a max height, but it does has to scale width+height for mobile users.
The code is now:
#main-header {
background-position: 0 0;
background-size: 100% !important;
min-height: 315px;
text-align: center;
text-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.75);
}
With this code it doesn’t scroll, but now when scaling to mobile size, the background image is shown 3 times. Adding the no-repeat code doesn’t work either, because then instead of 3 images I see 1 image and the background color for that height.
Without the min-height code, the image doesn’t show at all.
So I’m lost..
Hope you can help me with the css code!
Angela

Hello, My page content is being shifted and repeated from the page content editing area, into the site title area on the landing page
it’s solved if I chose to set the front page as NOT the Landing Page, but I want to use the button I have installed on the landing page.
any help appreciated
]]>Hello. I have two sites, one french, one english and I’d like the layouts to be the same.
I briefly flirted with Moesia as a theme, and then swapped back to Aletheia, because I found a way to get the header image to be responsive (YAY!)
So when I copied the exact same CSS from this site, into my site here, the main body is “stuck” under the header image and there’s no clever scroll effect.
Anyone care to help me play “SPOT THE DIFFERENCE?”
]]>hello, does anyone know how to make the header image responsive please?
my site is here
Child theme alétheia
Parent Follet
Hello. I hid the header on individual pages on the Singl Theme, by adding this code in the child stylesheet
.page-id-89 .site-branding {
display: none;
}
but the fix doesn’t work with this theme.
anyone got any suggestions please?
bear in mind I am averse to changing the php code, every time I have tried anything there, I get a blank site. If I have to I will, but I need ‘php for dummies’ first ??
]]>Hello, I like Alétheia theme but I’ve noticed that because of being resposible, sidebar gets under 300px and for ads it’s not allowed. I just need to set a min-widht, but I won’t to ruin this beautiful design.
I suppose that I should change it on Follet’s style.css but no clue how to do it. (If it’s possible)
]]>hello. how do I remove the white strip/box that appears above the main body on every page?
I removed all the widgets to give myself a “clean drawing board”, and yet this hung around like a bad smell afterwards!
I don’t know what it is, and I can’t work out how to identify it using firebug either.
inside the box it sometimes has an icon with a home logo, and after one clicks, it says “nothing found” which maybe suggests it is/was connected with the search widget
]]>hello. great looking header.
I’d like to move the site title down -so that it appears over the centre of my header-image- https://pandoraslunchbox.eu/wp/
I’d also like to change the site title font style, so just to confirm, the general question is, do I do this in aletheia with the css, since aletheia is already the child theme of follet?
]]>Using the Alétheia theme. We’ve uploaded a header image. On narrower screens (13 inch mac) the image gets truncated. The header image we are using has text on the right side that’s getting clipped off. Wondering if there are guidelines for creating the header that would minimize or eliminate this effect?
]]>I like both Aletheia and Follet very much. However, especially in Aletheia (but also in Follet), I don’t personally like the redundant listing of the page title. In Aletheia, the box for listing this goes all the way across the header image and seems excessive.
I haven’t yet located a way of turning off this feature.
Advice, please?
Thanks.
