Hello, is there a demo theme available to try aino theme ? thanks
]]>I am getting more and more frustrated, since I have to overhawl my Navigation Menu every time the Aino theme ( or Gutenberg?) updates. Is anyone who created a custom header experiencing difficulties?
Team Aino: Please tell me a way that ist safe for a live site to create a menu at the top of the page.
Can I rely on the patterns you provide?
What about buttons: my rounded corner-Buttons now have a black bg to the left is that a bug?

Thank you for any help.
]]>The navigation menu I had previously created (1 Year ago) as a template part in the beto editor totally broke as I updated Aino and wordpress to 6.0 so that I resorted back to the standard header menu in Aino.
How do I manage which Navigation item to display? This is so basic I can’t belive it is nowhere to be found…
right now every page is being listed in the menu. I am desperate…
Hi,
When looking at the desktop / laptop of the nav menu all is working well.
But on the mobile view, the top level items seem to be slightly over to the right.
Is there a way to customize the mobile menu, other than changing the colours?
Thanks

I’ve tried using Aino theme and it’s been working well.
Just now I tried to add a woocommerce product and I got the following error message:
There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
In addition to that, I recieved an email with more info:

]]>Hello,
last night I updated aino to 2.6.2 from previous version. I noticed that some default changed: font size on paragraphs, padding between paragraphs, columns and the layout overall is broken. I don’t know if this is normal and how to fix it.
Is it a known problem or is it only mine and I didn’t understand how to proper use Aino?
Best regards,

Accustomed with how things worked before, created an Aino child theme. When I activate it I don’t get the full site editing as with the parent theme. It’san issue or something I missed to do?
Om Site Editor page, global styles, I see a selection of font options to choose from. How they are added, is there any way I can add my own? I want to use 2 fonts, locally hosted.
Thank you for any help.
]]>I would like to know how to best implement the responsive menu switch at a larger Right now the buger menu button appears at 600 px wide screens. I would rather have it switch at 1000. Reason for that being, that my Primary Nav is rather long and it wraps and looks ugly.
it seems like the class “navigation.is-responsive” is involved in this but I am lacking the knowledge to change that.
]]>Hi forum,
I am using the aino hero block within the aino theme. I have tweeked it to let the content section overlap the image and I really like the result, except that the grid that holds the whole thing is stretching out
@media (min-width:80em)
and reveals a gap before and after the hero element so that the content that follows is below the fold. See link above How could I avoid it? I would love to add styles to the css, something like manipulating the min-height value but it seems to have no effect.
could someone with more knowledge help me out?
Hi there,
after updates, the hero picture on my startpage has disapeared,
how can I get it back?

Hi Elmastudio,
Today I updated WP to version 5.8 and then Aino. WP update was successful, after the Aino update i got a PHP error. Then I saw that 2 plugins still have to be installed. Now a white page is shown when calling the frontend.
PHP-Version 7.4
Thanks for help!

Hi Ellen, I’m having trouble with Aino WP theme customisations not working. This has happened twice now on two different installations (on different domains). Theme customisations are working fine, then, I change the date/country time format in the WP settings panel, and the theme suddenly switches back to the default WP theme (twenty Twenty-One) and the the customisations are removed and I can’t add these back again? The Aino theme customisation simply no longer work, nor does the menu (this can’t be added back either strangely). This is a brand new WP install, and I only have two plugins activated (Aino block + Gutenberg plugins, as recommended). I tried deactivating these all the same (as recommended Google trouble shooting the issue), but the problem persists. Any help here would be appreciated. Otherwise, I really love the design of the theme, hoping to get it working again as looking forward to working with this theme. Thanks!
]]>Hi Elma (yes both of you;),
I love this theme and am curious to watch it to continue to grow. It seems a great balance between best practices, block approach, and minimal styling.
I am a newbie so I apologize for the question… what is the best way for me to understand the ‘logic’ behind how styles are organized within the theme? Trying to layer my own customizations in a child and am starting to pick up on global variables etc… I would love to know what I can tap into to make my customization more “coherent” with your logic. Which css and/or php files should I read to find such things?
Thank you!
Rick
Hello and thank you for the update and all the changes that have come with it. Looks good so far. One thing I have noted is that the color of the text in the CTA button at the very top on our page has now changed to black instead of the white it was before, which makes it very hard to read (the button itself is dark blue). Do you know where I could change that?
Thank you in advance and all the best!
]]>Good day,
after migrating a site with Aino/Childtheme via Duplicator, I get the error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in /var/www/vhosts/enhvkkix.host238.checkdomain.de/dergrosse.in/wp-content/themes/aino/inc/template-tags.php on line 298
In the original site this doesn’t seem to cause any problems, the 1:1 migrated one brings the above error on every try.
Kind regards
Marion
I tried several ways to implement a full width header on my HOME (static page). I am looking for to fill the entire space above the fold with that image (except the nav).
Blocks tried: hero, cover.
interestingly, when I use an image gallery on that static page and apply “full with” to the block it goes all the way to the edge.
Is there a block that could do this?
Hallo,
ich würde gerne die Hintergrundfarbe vom Menue (auf meiner Seite das Menue “Spurensuche”) ?ndern.
Kann mir jemand sagen, wo ich diese ?nderung vornehmen kann.
Vielen Dank

Hi! First of all amazing theme, thank you!
I experienced a problem right after I have updated the theme yesterday. The whole website crashed and it was a challenging problem to fix. Then, right when I thought it was all fixed, I encountered another major problem; every font, padding size, the mobile menu, and its icons were somehow different, off, and/or enlarged. I had to go back to my old version of the theme by using a plugin. For now, it is not a big deal but I would like to be able to update my website in the future. Can you help me with that?
Hi, as per your beautiful examples on the aino website. How does one achieve the heading effect that allows for 2 colours on one heading?
]]>Hi, it is possible to change the colour of the text in the header?
It will also be okay with an additional css-code.
Thanks so much

Hi there,
Currently I am using the Aino theme and the mobile menu does not seem to be working. The 3 dots appear past the page width breakpoint however when clicked the menu doesn’t appear. I am running a bit of custom CSS over the top however when I removed all of that it still didn’t work. Regardless here is the custom CSS…

Hello again!
I am not sure if this has to do with the theme, maybe you have an answer. When trying to use an SVG file for the homepage logo in the customizer, everything looks perfect. When looking at the page in regular view though, the logo simply disappears. Do you have any ideas what the cause of this behavior could be?
All the best and thanks again for your work!
]]>Hey, thanks for the offer to contact you here!
The situation is as follows:
I have created a child theme for Aino. I based this on the code you provided with Pukeko. Then I tried implementing the font Ubuntu, which can be found at Google Fonts. Because of DSGVO, the font is supposed to be self-hosted. I used google-webfonts-helper and copied the data into my CSS file. The font versions are uploaded via FTP into a “fonts” folder in my “aino-child” folder, where the CSS file lies. As of yet, I have not found a way to make the font work on the page.
First question: Is there anything I have to change in the functions.php file that might be the root of the problem? In the CSS file I have changed to following things:
Theme Name: Aino Child
Description: Aino Child Theme
Author: to my name
Author URI: to the websites name
Template: aino
Tags: Aino Child Theme
Second question: Due to my inexperience, I am not quite certain which path I have to choose to link the fonts in the CSS file. I have tried several options though (../fonts/, ./fonts/, /fonts/, fonts/), none of which seem to work. I therefore don’t think that that’s the problem. Do you have any other suggestions that I could try to make the font work?
Thank you very much already! I really appreciate your help and your work in general!
