Hi All,

I am trying to help edit the webpage footer for a charity and I am unable to find the content to edit.

I go to pages and then edit the page and within the editor, it doesn’t show the whole content of the page for me to edit, just the top layer. Where Can I go to make the edit? I am using WordPress 6.0.3 and perhaps is the issue?

Any help would be much appreciated as this is impacting the charity’s donations

A website im working on is throwing a mixed media SSL cert error because of an image below the left hand side navigation menu (the tick image in the call me back button), the link to the image is using https:// and needs to be changed to https:// but I cannot find where the image is link is located, it isnt in the theme style.css sidebar.php, single.php or page.php file , where else might it be located?

I have just one, quite simple question.
Please, is there any chance how to change to headers pictures on sub-page ?
I would like to have 5 different pictures uploaded (for every sub-page different)
=> when I would click on “REVíZNE SPRáVY” I will have different picture as I have in “HOME” page.
Is something like this possible? If yes, how should I do it?

Hi, I do love your theme. I would like to add line breaks in the 3 service boxes of my homepage. Standards HTML codes [</br>] doesn’t work as the code appears in the front office if added. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot

Featured Button url: google.com
–> NOT displaying on the left. I am guess that Link Test (Google Now) should replace what is there, Isaiah 40:31 (which is left over from earlier content.)

It looks to me like I’ve got the right info in the right place and the theme is not complying.

Please advise.

Everything was working fine … and now it’s not.
My slider image WAS visible and then it just disappeared.

– I created a new post, with a new slider image, and a new category.
– Set Homepage Settings/ Homepage Slider to new category.
– Still didn’t work

In Posts, in both of my slider posts (I only have 2; the original and the test) the Featured Image DOES NOT APPEAR in the bottom, lower corner. It says ‘click to edit or remove’ – and I do so and I select a new image, but the thumbnail image doesn’t appear, to confirm that the Featured Image has ‘taken.’

When I view the actual post, no image shows up.
Please advise.

Note: I updated to Adamos 2.9; I am working with a child theme.

I want to display only the slider images with some captions and do not want to link the posts. I tried adding just the image in the post and adding a featured image. But that post gets published as some number post name(got email subscription notification).

I read in some thread to remove the category of featured. but not understanding where exactly I have to modify this code. Pls help

Absolutely loving the theme.

Has been really easy to understand and change as I would like.

I am really wanting to add my own personal content below the 3 service boxes.

below the 3 service boxes I want to add a banner with our sponsors.

I also want to add an instagram feed which sits 4/5 images wide by 2/3 images down. (like a grid). this doubles up as a latest news section which automatically updates when we post new insta images.

Is there a way of doing this.

Also I want to add the social media icons in the top right and cannot work out how to get them up in the top right corner.

Hello! I had one site with Adamos 2.1 and was using HTML in the service boxes just to add more size to the icons and bold font for the texts. After upgrading to Adamo 2.8, all of it was broken.
I found out you added esc_html in the output of those strings at custom_home.php file.

Is there any way you can fix this for next release? I know you can sanitize output WITHOUT killing HTML tags present on it.

I am trying to find where i can change the language for “Posted on” “by” (before the author) and the “X Comments” or “Leave a Comment” language… I just cant find anywhere.

I already changed the language for the comments page but i can find where sould i change the language for the posts.

I’ve noticed that after updating to WP version 4.4 that the rotating image slider header images are compressed and greatly pixelated. The image I’m trying to use is 2,000px X 500px and has worked perfectly until now.

In Customize, I have Service Section Settings -> hide UNchecked, so it should be there, but it’s not. Same story with Recent Posts Section. I’ve tried a few things and can’t figure it out on my own. Any help is much appreciated!

I have front page set to Static, though I’ve tried latest posts as well and that’s not what I want.

Just updated Adamos…now the menu items have a little bounce animation on hover, which looks terrible. Please, for the love of all things good, tell me how to get rid of this atrocious feature. Why would you even add this in? Is it 1994 and did you just discover this?

Currently the Feature Promo link on the home page and the Service Box 1 on the home page link to the same place even when each are changed. I’d like for the Feature Promo text to link to one place and the Service Box 1 to link to another place.

Is there any way to make this happen?

I was wondering if it is possible to merge the three footer columns into one? We have a tag cloud in the center column, and it would be good if it could span the whole footer, rather than the middle third?

I have a site running the Adamos pro theme.

I loaded in alt tags for all images loaded in via the Media manager in WordPress, however the alt tags aren’t appearing in the page source anywhere. Is this an issue with the theme? Something else I’m missing? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Downloaded adamos a couple of days ago and trying my best to get what i want, which is a really simple about/contact page.
Managed a few things that i want to change but im stuck at changning the colour of the hover box in the top menu, both for when hovering and when that particular page is used/selected.

I’ve managed to change the text colour for the page that is used in the menu in the active hover box, but i want the other pages in the menu to have the same text colour as the page im on.

Also played around in the /* Small menu */ and the only thing that i havent been able to fix there is the text colour on the active page, i want that to be the same as the other pages that arent active.

I am custermising “adamos” theme.

I went to Appearance ==> Widgets , and removed everything in Primary Sidebar.

But I still see “ARCHIVES” and “META” on several pages.

Does anyone know how to remove the sidebar completely?

I was wondering if you were thinking about a new design for the home page.
Indeed, the custome homepage is great with the slider + 3 featured text boxes + 2 recents posts.

But it would be nice to have a design for “bloggers”, like a really usefull homepage where there is really some main content & articles.

Hi there, I recently took over the reins for a student association website (https://www.utexasgsa.org/). I am inexperienced with WP but have some familiarity. The website is having some weird issues in the slider. The slider photos have a grey box and dark dots in it – does anyone know how to remove these?

Hello maybe a stupid question and it is maybe somewhere in this FAQ but I can’t find it.

My question: Is it posible to change the Languish easy to Dutch? I know there is a doc who tells me to change the language default.mo but I don’t know how and Poedit doesn’t work (can’t work with it).
I’m not that skilled to change anything in the code and run all php files to change words is probably not the way to do it.

So is there a NL.mo file for this template and else can somebody give me a step by stap explanation how to fix it

I’m replicating a site in WordPress (previously just straight code) and I want to have the captions in the slider more prominent – you can see what I’m after on the original site at https://entrustmt.com/ – basically having more CSS control over the font, and being able to have 2 lines with a break and different weights. In the original site, it was easy with ‘strong’ and ‘span’ tags.

Hey, I’am making site and client want to use IE 8 or 7(no idea why). I have problem because slider in Adamos theme dont work preperly. I see images in my slider but slider look like images merge in one. Is there any solution for this? Or maybe slider dont work in this versions of IE?

Another problem is that primary menu is not visible. When I check it, there is no width and heigh in IE, but even if I give them it, it’s still invisible.

I’d be greatful for any help ??

When I change the URL link in Service Box 1 it changes the link URL in the Feature Promo Bar and vice verse if I update the URL link in the Feature Promo Bar it changes the Service Box 1 URL link to the same URL as the Feature Promo Bar link. I would like to have the Service Box 1 link and Feature Promo Bar link to go to different location.

I would like for the Feature Promo Bar link to go to the store with all products.

I would like for the Service Box 1 link to go to a specific product.
