Newbie here so please bear with me lol.

I have never created a website and was given the task after a staff member left the company.
Our company has existing WordPress sites, one for ‘live’ which is currently in use, and one for ‘dev’ the site in development which we want the ‘live’ site to eventually switch to.

I am referring to ‘dev’.

I logged into WordPress ‘dev’ and looked at various themes as we need to change how our website looks. I chose the Accountra Theme and I customized it in Editor and saved it, but for some reason I cannot preview it. When I select preview it still shows the original dev site with none of my theme customizations.

I had cleared browser cache, I had flushed host caching, I had checked plugins and there are none for caching.

Then finally I saw this in customizer (which still displays the old site) …
“The Customizer allows you to preview changes to your site before publishing them. You can navigate to different pages on your site within the preview. Edit shortcuts are shown for some editable elements. The Customizer is intended for use with non-block themes”.

Accountra is a block theme! So, I’m assuming the reason I can’t preview my changes is because of this.

So, what do I do now? How do I preview the site with my theme and changes? I need to demo what I have done to management and have no idea how.

Hi, my website has suddenly developed these texts at various points throughout the website without any line spacing- I havent made any recent changes at all and when I opened few days back, everything was ok. But today I’m seeing at various pages on website and even on menu text that is scrambled and with no line spacing at all.

I am not really sure how to fix or what could be the reason. some Text looks ok in editor but some is scrambled even in editor. Could it be a recent wordpress update? really looking forward to some help.

the forms aren’t being sent, and an error message occurs (as seen in photo 2). Despite activating Confirmation Mail to User (SMTP) by Gotenverse settings (as shown in photo 1) and installing the WP Mail SMTP plugin similarly (utilizing the Amazon SES email option in the WP Mail SMTP plugin settings, with the server being Amazon AWS Lightsail), I still encounter an error message (as depicted in photo 3).

I’ve been unable to locate a method to edit the mobile and tablet modes (similar to what’s available in Elementor) within Gotenverse. The only similar option for mobile and tablet modes appears to be in the customize section, as shown in the photos. Additionally, while the text is present in desktop mode, it’s missing in mobile mode, necessitating edits to the mobile portion. However, it seems impossible to edit the mobile mode within the Gutenverse Customize section.

Hi, I am facing problem where the customised header is only getting shown on frontpage and not on other pages.

Theme: Accountra

What went wrong: I tried adding new headers yesterday through gutenverse section import and trying them out but unfortunately got my whole website headers ruined. Now the other pages are not showing header footer at all.

I have tried reverting back to prev version but it hasnt helped either.

I’m just dreading doing the whole website again now, it’s almost done and I was going to make it live.

Hello everyone! I’m currently using the Accountra theme to design a WordPress website and have implemented Ajax Search Lite for search functionality. Despite configuring the plugin to include page search in its settings, I’ve noticed that when performing a search, it only returns results from posts. How can I go about resolving this issue?

When I want to edit the header of this template and customize it, if I edit the main page, the header is not displayed from the beginning of the editing process. I have to click on the top part to display the header and start customizing the header. Also, I go through the editor and edit the header In both cases, when I customize the header and save it, the header disappears from all pages, but in the edit mode, the header and changes are shown. Only by using clear customization, does the header return to the pages, which means that I have no changes on the header.

I have been trying to change the generic template for the front page but for some reason its keeps over ridding my own front page template to the generic one, any suggestions

I can’t figure out how to change the background image on the Accountra theme. I can change other images, but I don’t see any option to change the image on the home page. Sorry I’m new and I need to get this site up.
