It is a great pity that attachments (data files, images, notes, etc.) saved in Zotero items cannot be seen and downloaded when using Zotpress.

A very nice plugin, very useful and very effective.
Well written and developed, constantly updated. A little attention is required in the configuration but it is sufficient to carefully read the many contributions in the support area.
I would give six stars if I could ??

After many years copying and pasting bibliographies from Zotero and manually correcting them, I’ve finally given Zotpress a try and honestly I don’t know what took me so long! It works great and is quite powerful.
There are still a few things I’d like the plugin to do, e.g.
But even without all that, it’s already a great plugin. Many thanks for developing it!

We have been collecting references, and now Zotpress let’s us easily display them beautifully on our WordPress site.

I like a lot this nice plugin, but I face a major issue : I cannot post anything when the plugin is activated, because it generate an error message each time I try to create a new block : ‘this block encountered en issue and cannot be displayed’
So I have to desactivate it, then modify, then reactivate entering the settings…

Ich verwende Zotpress mittlerweile in mehreren Blogs und kann es mir beim wissenschaftlichen Blogging nicht mehr wegdenken.
Ich hoffe, es wird best?ndig weiterentwickelt.

Works really well in combination with both user and group libraries. Impressed by a lot of things, from account management to how easy it is to create all sorts of bibliographies. Really good UI in the back-end, too, with excellent help & FAQ pages integrated with an overview of available settings and shortcodes. Impressive and well worth a donation!
Would love an option to de-JS ZotPress output (i.e. some way to cache more than just the bibliographic data) and trigger refresh manually (e.g., when a library or collection is updated). Right now sorting and adding headings is all done in JS post-load, resulting in delays. But many publication lists are pretty much static, so could be rendered and cached in HTML once the basic settings are clear.

Not many plugins that offer bibs, in-text citations, etc. and this one does it so well!

The plugin works fine although I had to address a few syncing issues with my server not allowing outgoing connections. The forum was very helpful. Great job !

This plugin is exactly what you need when it comes to include zotero references into your wordpress documents.

The combination of Zotero and Zotpress provides a simple and efficient way to maintain publication lists. Support is excellent.

Great plugin that works seamlessly with Zotero and WordPress. Will allow me to ensure that my research folder remains complete by only generating citations in WordPress for items that I’ve included in it.

Have at least tried if not used most of this plugin’s features. Works great, creates beautiful bibliographies. Perfect complement to the online Zotero groups.

If you use Zotero as your citation manager and create WordPress posts with source citations, you need to use this plugin! It’s best suited to citations of published materials using in-text styles, such as APA and MLA, but some minor hacking of the Modern Footnotes plugin allows it to be used for footnoted citations.

I have used this plugin for a couple of years and it works fine. Highly recommended.

After three years, still the best way to manage bibliography on WordPress !
I do not regret for a second my donation of a dollar a month.
Thanks a lot. It what I needed !

It works really well. It would be great if I could save the individual citations as items in the sidebar widget when I save a post (because I forget which zotero ID was referring each item days after).

I searched all over for a decent way to publish my endnote library on my wordpress site. I gave up and exported it into zotero so I could use this plugin!

This is one of the best wordpress plugins I have used, and does exactly what I need. It works very well in displaying my zotero library, and the documentation is excellent. The support forum is also very useful and answered every question I had. When a problem recently emerged due to a conflict with a WP core change, the developer, Katie Seaborn, fixed it very quickly. As a result, I plan to donate toward its support and development.

I am still wondering how I can integrate reference with footnotes and how to use a collection and to suppress another collection within the same Zotero library

Not much to say except it’s brilliant.

Many thanks! I’ve had this installed for quite some time now, though haven’t used it as much as I suspect I will in future. The changes since I first used it are significant; it certainly does what I’ve wanted it to do thus far.
[Bibliography at the end of a post is the main way- have tested inline citations, but haven’t really needed that as much]

Zotpress is a wonderful plugin that significantly extends the reach and usefulness of a Zotero library. The two most important capabilities it provides are:
While Zotero was created for the academic researcher/author, using Zotpress it can also be a powerful tool for any professional writing on the web. Zotero can painlessly grab references as you are reading/browsing them on the web. Not only can you then quickly find them again when you’re writing, you can document those sources as you write.
I can also second – from experience – the reviews that have mentioned the great support by the author.

This is a terrific plugin! It does exactly what it promises right out of the box with only a small learning curve required of the user. And the support from the developer, Katie, is absolutely second-to-none with extraordinarily rapid response times and resolution of issues that arise. I particularly appreciate the new dynamic linkage to one’s Zotero database – it’s slick and a great time-saver. Bravo, Katie!

I was hoping for something like this. And expecting the usual three quarters baked plugin that would do some of what I wanted but not all. But this is really well done. Congratulations on a superb addition to the wordpress ecosphere.

I tried the plugin on different wordpress themes. It is not working with yootheme themes. However, since the plugin is an excellent plugin with compatible themes, I just have to give it a five star rating.
If it was a “pro” or “premium” version of this plugin with a refund policy, with a price tag that gives it a serious impression, I would definitely buy it.
Free plugins are more like “open relationships”. In this case, my hearth is broken since it will not work with my theme.

This is one of the few plugins available for adding citations to WordPress. Even if there were other plugins, this one would blow them out of the water! There are tons of features which allow users to achieve nearly any result they wish. Awesome development and communication from the devs. Highly recommended.
