So sorry that I didn’t respond to your tickets when they were submitted, but I received no notification that they had been submitted!
The plugin was recently updated to work with v5.5.1 and the shortcode [zonemarker] is working.
The instructions have been tweak slightly, but may need further work, please let me know.

Thank you for this promising plugin.

I could install the “Zonemaker” plugin on a new WP installation with a drone template (squadrone). I could enter an API in the backend.

Now, when I try to publish the plugin on the frontend it does not work. It is not visible as widget, and the WordPress Short Code does not work on a new page, nor on a new post.

Could you elaborate a little bit more clearly what needs to be done for publishing it on the frontend after the installation on the backend?

“All you need to do is create a new page, add a WordPress short code [zonemaker] and ensure that the settings are configured to your liking.” is too vague. (or does not work with my WP version, template, or other plugins.)
