Due to abuse received from plugin repository users we are ceasing development of free WordPress plugins and this is the last release of ZigTweets. It will be removed from the repository in due course. Our pro-bono plugin development will now be exclusively for the ClassicPress platform.
]]>ZigTweets 0.3.1 has broken a couple production sites for me. Looking at the server logs I see this error:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘@’ in /plugins/zigtweets/widget.php on line 183, referer: https://www.mysite.com/
Please can you release a fix for this?
]]>I am getting the following notice on 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.11 and latest WP. Still seems to be fetching tweets fine.
NOTICE: wp-content/plugins/zigtweets/oauth.php:391 – Undefined index: port
require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-includes/template-loader.php’), include(‘/themes/mytheme/front-page.php’), dynamic_sidebar, call_user_func_array, WP_Widget->display_callback, widget_zigtweets->widget, TwitterOAuth->get, TwitterOAuth->oAuthRequest, OAuthRequest->to_url, OAuthRequest->get_normalized_http_url
Thanks for forking off and making a clean working plugin, I really appreciate it!!
]]>Just tried installing ZigTweets and it warned that I needed PHP 5.3.0 and so refused to activate. Thing is, I am running my site on PHP 5.4.43 which should count as newer than 5.3.0. Or does ZigTweeets require exactly version 5.3.0?
“ZigTweets requires PHP 5.3.0 and has been deactivated. Click here to go back.”
