Hi Guys,
We’re moving over to the WooCommerce checkout blocks experience and noticed that Zapper is not compatible with it. This is despite it being the default experience, since the release of version 8.3 in November 2023.
Please look into supporting this.
We can reactivate your plugin once this change has been made.
]]>Hi there
WooCommerce has a built in function that saves a Transaction ID to an order. This was documented in it’s release here.
We have a site that we recently integrated a sync with QuickBooks that push all our orders through. However the plugin relies on the order meta with the key _transaction_id
which can be easily added within the Zapper Plugin.
Currently you guys do make used of the function as $order->payment_complete();
and all that would be needed is passing it a variable like $order->payment_complete( $someValue );
.
Hi Guys,
Hope you are well.
I’m running a site that does attract a number of customers from the US.
Recently one customer tried to pay via the Zapper platform which resulted in a number of failed transactions.
I’m using “WooCommerce Price Based on Country (Basic)” for the currency conversions.
From what I can tell, the plugin parsed the USD value of the transaction, so I assume it is one of two potential issues:
1. Zapper doesn’t support payments in currencies other than ZAR.
2. The USD amount didn’t match the ZAR amount during checkout and caused the payment to fail.
Best wishes,
Anthony
Hi Guys,
Noticed that with the latest version of WooCommerce v5, this plugin has not been updated in 9 months and hasn’t supported a WooCommerce version since v4.0.1
When can we expect an update?
]]>When a new order is placed with Zapper. The payment method is populated but there is no transaction ID.
This is needed for another plugin that requires the ID to be in place. I know from previous experiences with other gateways that value is populated.

Any possibility of something being updated for that?
]]>Love this plugin and app! Unfortunately, 1/3 orders are not showing as processed in Woo and are stuck in pending. They are not getting their emails either. Is there something I am overlooking or that we need to do to make this 100%? They are definitely paying – its just not showing in Woo…
]]>Order button disappears as soon as I activate the zapper payment plugin.
This is the error I am seeing, according to Zapper, the merchant account is active:

Hey guys,
I’m developing for a client and want to test this gateway as an option.
The client is registered with you guys.
I need the merchant details needed for sandbox testing.
Want to make sure everything is bug-less on my side before adding the actual merchant details
Hi
After the the Woocommerce 3.0 update the plugin no longer works.
When the plugin is active – the checkout page doesn’t load completely, and the place order button as well as the admin bar is missing.
Thanks
]]>Hi
Thanks for a great plugin.
After the last update of Woocommerce; we are still receiving the payment notification from Zapper but no orders are raised in woocommerce, and no order confirmation emails are going out to the shop admin or to the customers.
This causes an issue in that we have no idea what is on the customer’s order – so we can’t process these manually without contacting and inconveniencing the customer.
Thank you
