Despite the fact that it hasn’t been updated in over a year, it seems to be working with the latest version of WordPress. I just wish Yummly would make an update to the plugin to ensure it’s up to date.

This plugin was great up until about a week ago. It just stopped working. We tried on multiple peoples’ computers and browsers. It still works on one old computer with an old version of Firefox. We submitted a ticket in the forum last week but no reply. So until this gets fixed, I give it one star. If they get it back to what it was, I’d give it 5.

I found this plugin okay. it does what it says but it really lacks some core functionality like recipe widgets or yum button. I hope they can improve it.

Great for free and easy to use. Gets you the base content you need. Would like to see a media upload button for the recipe image, currently it’s just a pasted url that you need to copy from elsewhere (external site or after manually uploading the image to the media library).

I have not been able to install this plugin. I have asked for support several times and have not received a sufficient reply. Only reply I received gave me an e-mail to another department that could help me. Yet even after contacting this other department by e-mail, no word. What must I do to get this plugin working on my site?

I added this plug-in to my site mainly to get the Yum It button, but I’ve discovered so many other useful functions, especially the way it can improve your recipe layout. It’s very easy to use, and when I had a couple questions, the support team was very helpful and wrote me back right away. I love the way it has changed my food blog and can’t wait to keep using it.

Easy to use, good documentation, and does all of the things I need a recipe plugin to do: formats recipes well, makes them easily printable, allows images to be inserted into the recipe, deals with all of the behind the scenes markup for search engines, and more.
Things that would make it perfect:
– better integration the media library – I’d rather be able to pick images to insert, instead of having to go to the library separately and retrieving the URL manually.
– better integration of the recipe with the post. Once you insert the recipe into the post, in the editor it just shows as a Yummly recipe card, which means the spell checker and Yoast SEO plugin don’t access the text in the recipe itself.
-easier insertion of links
