I’ve added a new video and set the parent div to a width of 800px. The resulting video is not resizing to the div but defaults to 304px by 158px. The player is set to 100% width.

How do I change the width of the video?

Hi, from time to time I have an issue with your player that it plays with very low resolution (like 360p or even lower). YouTube video is 1080p. There is no control to change that so in that case there is nothing I (or user) can do to make it better.

Would be nice if you add an option to change quality like there is to change speed.

At the beginning of loading page that used your plugin there’s small You tube frame showing up at top of the page every time and annoying, I don’t have this issue if just embed from youtube without using your plugin. See the video showing the issue, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wno3dovJKhY

Is it possible to make it work when start at a different time? Meaning use youtube option to start at any time of the video to get a link of the video which will start at selected time but after I used that in your plugin it still starts from the beginning)”(time 00:00)

Timing(current time or duration) not working and stuck on initial numbers which is 00:00 or video duration all the time , you can check your demo 1 as have same issue stuck at duration 01:34 all the time. Hi, I have a problem with not working progress bar and current and total time displaying 00:00. When I move the progress control manually then it works. But it doesn’t refresh automatically while playing video.

Tried to use different settings but nothing works. Any ideas?

The videos are not working on an iPhone. Using Chrome in iPhone is also not working. Kindly advise we are doing something wrong. Thanks.

I’m having an issue with the plugin.
As you can see on the homepage, the video box is not generated.
It will appear after trying to refresh the page a few times.

For some reason, the thumbnail uploaded in YouTube is not generating on the front end of the player. I’m seeing only the grey block.
How can I fix this?
I’ve tried refreshing, i’ve looked on incongnito and I’m still having the same difficulty.

I checked and the file does not exists there is a yt-plyr.js file but no plyr.min.js.map file.

How get the missing file?

When I play the video the progress bar and the current time seem not to work. The time is at 0:00 and the progress bar at the start…

After I publish a page – there is no control buttons.
Аfter refreshing the page, the buttons appear.

Some users can’t see buttons.

When I add videos from youtube, 1080P and 4K videos are shown as 480 or 720 at maximum. Can’t we do this in their normal values?

Is there are reference for the CSS? I’m using this plugin to embed YT videos in a course built with LearnPress. This uses the Classic Editor for posts and course layouts. When I include a video using the shortcode there is no space above the video and I can’t find the CSS that I need so that I can set padding and margin for the player.

This is the error that appears in the console: Access to XMLHttpRequest at ‘https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id’ from origin ‘https://www.youtube-nocookie.com’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.

I see this plugin uses shortcodes, which in the new Gutenberg blocks editor require adding a Shortcode block, then pasting in your shortcode.

Have you considered supporting a Block for adding YouTube videos, similar to the (abandoned) WPlyr Media Block plugin?

Instead of creating a database entry for each YouTube video, I’d like no database entries and simply a block that embeds the given YouTube URL using Plyr.

if chrome is in full screen mode, click the video fullscreen button, let video become fullscreen, then click fullscreen button again to go back to normal size playing, the video size is still fullscreen size, in the video window, it shows part of video only. in the case, change chrome from fullscreen to normal screen and change back to fullscreen, the video window show correct size of video again.

May I request a new feature to autoplay the video when it is loaded?

I am using the plugin with WordPress multisite. And the plugin works on one site and does not work on another.

So I tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin. I believe this is a glitch and it should work.

The issue that I am facing is when I reinstall the plugin the data from the previous install shows up. For example, I had added a few links and created a few players. They do show up and it is now a fresh install.

How can I go about installing the plugin like it was never installed on my site and delete all the residual data.

Any help regarding this is appritiated.
