As of April 20th, this plugin is now displaying a https://youtube.com/devicesupport indicating that they plugin is using API 2.
Has anyone sorted out how to upgrade this plugin so that it can use API 3?

]]>Hi, there is a way to add button on frontend for user ?
User will be able to capture form webcam and post on youtube and website?
Thank you
The previous thread got closed, but I’d still really like to see the feature added: allow us to upload video files to YouTube as well. It would be extremely helpful and make for a much better workflow than having to upload the file on YT, then switch to WP to do the rest.
If you’re dead-set against adding such feature, perhaps a name change to “YouTube Recording Widget” is in order, to more accurately represent the plugin’s functionality. Yes, technically it is uploading the file recorded via webcam. BUT when most people think of it, they think of that as “recording”, “webcasting”, etc. Not uploading.
But it’s a great plugin, why not just add this simple feature and make it cover both situations?
