I’ve kept my original comments here but I am downgrading my rating. Basically, this plugin does not scrape the REPLIES to youtube comments. For me this is a major flaw since my replies to my comments on my youtube channel are important, especially if someone writes a negative comment. Please fix this and I’ll revise my rating once more. Cheers.

Despite the lack of reviews and the out-of-date updates, this still works for WP 4.1.1. API has been updated to manage youtube’s v3.

This is a powerful plugin with a lot of potential. There are just a couple of things that would make it even better:

1) Ability to add a title to the comments, like “Imported Youtube Comments”. Without this some users may get confused by the two different comment sections.

2) Move the youtube comments elsewhere on the post, like underneath the WP comments.

3) Import the youtube comments into the WP comments itself

Aside from that this is a good plugin. I hope the dev continues to work on it. Thanks for your time.

Since Google Deprecated YouTube API v2, This is no longer working.

Needs to be Updated to Use Youtube API v3, and wait for that api have comments enabled.

Hope developers are into it, because it a great idea to post comments to youtube from wordpress!

We can add both video & video comments from someone else’s channel & doesn’t have to be our own. (Good for affiliates)

When posting YouTube videos on a blog it is great to be able to show the comments from the video. I tried this out before I switched to DeTube and was sad it didn’t work with that theme. Posted the issue to the author and he got it updated right away. 5 stars! Good work.
