One last question. When enabling hCAPTCHA on all my polls none of them will allow the user to submit. The hCaptcha box appears (and I’ve confirmed the site key, and secret key work on my Divi Email Opt-in Form). So I’m wondering what could be causing the hCAPTCHA to display on a poll but once the user completes the challenge, and clicks submit, the spinny wheel just keeps going around in a circle.

Hi, I’m wondering what the character limit is for a Text Area or Text Field included on my website. I can’t seem to find a setting anywhere to set a character limit. My main concern is bots or nefarious actors submitting huge amounts of text in these forms.

I am currently using the free version of the YOP Poll Plugin, and I’ve noticed that the poll question is wrapped in an <h5> tag by default. This causes an issue with the hierarchical order of heading tags (h-tags) on my website, which impacts both accessibility and SEO.

Could you please guide me on how to change the question’s tag from <h5> to <h4> within the free version of the plugin? I would appreciate it if you could provide detailed instructions or point me to the appropriate file where this modification can be made.

I have installed the poll on the attached page. For some reason if there is a error, like exceeding the amount of allowable choices, when you hit the submit button the browser scrolls to the op of the page and the error message is not evident to the user. Can it not do that?

How do you change the default sizing behavior of a Text Area? I can adjust the height and set the width to auto. But when the entire page is expanded the text box shrinks back to half size and is too small. It auto-resizes with the page but only until a browser window is at a certain size (see attached screenshot for reference).

So far in initial test use, a pretty impressive survey app espec for free version.

[And I speak as someone who is a degree-qualified statistician, whose speciality is survey design, and who previously was employed in that role by the ABS (Australian (Govt) Bureau of Statitics).]

A simple question: I see no way to copy an existing Question.

Good plugin! I just have one question:
How can I deactivate the “internal” “Audio”-Captcha function in all surveys (via functions.php of the child theme)? Unfortunately, this is not available in German.

I can only create a poll with one yes or no question, I want multiple questions in the poll but I can do it, without paying for pro why ?

I cloned a poll that replies are with images, how can i remove the images now ? i mean to have replies with out images.

I want to set custom start and end date as well as an e-Mail notification but there ist no option to choose a date or place email addres. By saving it says ” no recipient” or “date required”. Is this a bug?

When I test a vote, I have the choice to validate with Anonymous,Wordpress, Google ,Facebook.
It only works with WordPress. With Google, I have a spinning wheel and nothing happens.

Hello, great polling plugin, no complaints. Now we have a website running through cloudflare and we want to avoid poll spammers so we’re using the option Block voters by IP and cookie. But we need something for users IP’s to come through the YOP poll. Right now only a few votes come through.

I was creating a website for a hifi community meeting of 3 days. I would like to know what days of the meeting people will participate, if they have wishes or ideas for events, what gear they will bring and – very important – if they like what we are planning for dinner. They should tell us about allergies and so on.

It would be easy to find out how many Wiener Schnitzels or Bratwurst we need. But is it possible to find out who wants the Schnitzel and who wants the Bratwurst?

Is it possible to use YOP Poll for gathering such information? My question is if it is possible to show what a single voter was answering?

I have a problem with the build-in simple Icon-Captcha. Integration is no Problem, but everyone can send the form, even if the wrong icon is selected. Only if no icon is selected, the captcha stops the poll.
I can’t use reCaptcha or hCaptcha because of not being DSGVO-konform.
So, what to do that I can use the build-in captcha.

I’d like to use this plugin to manage elections in my organization. Is it possible to prevent users from double voting (eg. using the same poll more than one time)?

Initial experience with this plug-in is positive except for the seemingly lack of documentation.

Would like to suggest a few things:

1. A wiki or help page with relevant CSS references.
2. The “Custom CSS” box seems to clear all line breaks after saving and then editing the poll again.
3. Would like to see a short code or something that allows additional page to be loaded after a vote (e.g. [show_if_voted] … [/show_if_voted]) so other page actions can occur (rather than using a redirect that could be accessed by non-voters. Example: After voting, MyCred can reward the user, or an image, or other suggested polls or pages, etc.

Where is the documentation to this plug-in? There are so many things needing answers. Searching this support forum is painful.

1. How do you customize the color of the results progress bar using CSS? The results are appear to be using a black progress bar, but my page’s background is already black. Or, no bar is showing at all.
   EDIT: Found it buried in the Questions & Answers under the Edit pencil for each answer.
2. How do you customize the form buttons (check boxes, radio buttons) to be larger? Different colors?
   EDIT: A way I can easily make them bigger is using { transform: scale(); } but this seems not very flexible.
3. How do you customize the “Success” message? I can’t change the background color using Custom Styles.
4. How do you allow a user to change their vote?
5. What does the “Reset Poll Stats automatically” option do?
6. What does the “Auto Generate Poll Page” option do?
7. How to reset a specific vote, and will / can it allow a user to vote again?
8. What CSS can be / should be used in the Customize CSS box?
