Problem with Facebook share on mobile?

If you click to share for a discount on mobile, twitter works fine but if you click Facebook and cancel before making the post, it still applies the discount.

Is it not possible to verify the post status first on mobile? On desktop it seems to work correctly, and doesn’t apply the discount until the post is made.

Still a great plugin, but just wondering about this bug.

Hi, when I using this plugin, all Facebook messenger(live chat) plugins will become not working, must disable this plugin Facebook share feature to use Facebook messenger(live chat) plugin, I tried 5 different Facebook messenger(live chat) plugin also same, so it’s this plugin problem, do you have any solution? unless I don’t use the Facebook share only use twitter or google+, then both plugin can work together.

Hi,

I am using share for discount Plugin latest Version 1.4.5, when ever i activate the plugin my users can not login/register on my website, and when I deactivate the plugin customers can easily login/ register on my website.

I am using Flatsome Theme: 3.6.0

so whats the issue?? kindly solve it for me, I want to use this plugin too.

Hi,

I’m assuming the Share for Discounts is facing some conflicts with IPVA plugin as using both together causes the the selection options to be locked. Is there any work around for this?

Hello,

can you update your documentation, free and pro version in order to make it fit the reality?

– Screenshot are outdated and do not meet anymore what a new user see on facebook developer

– There’s no explanation about why is necessary create an App within FB app market

– A step is totally missing

Once you click on “App Review” your documentation make it easy, switch on yes in order to ensure the application is public.
Pity that you can’t switch on yes automatically because the app you are creating need to be approved by FB and this passage is totally missing.

“You must provide a valid Privacy Policy URL in order take your app Live. Go to App Details and make sure it is valid.”

What Privacy Policy are we talking about? the Privacy Policy of an App that will be available on FB? the Privacy Policy of the eCommerce?

As soon as you go on App Details the user is buzzed in front of a page titled:

Complete this page and add App Details to your app review submission to apply for listing in App Center.

Hi,

When you open the product page, the plugin causes crashing of Mysql when you open the product page and the loading of the page is slow.

Is there any update to fix this issue.

I am using your SHARE FOR DISCOUNTS plugin. It use to work nice but I have updated it to the latest woocommerce and latest yith plugin but now when you do a facebook share on https://www.goedenkoop.nl it doesn’t show the messages that the discount has been activated and that the product needs to be placed inside the cart to see the discount. Besides. when you refresh the side it does give the messages that is has been added. but than when you go to the cart the discount is nowwhere to be found. We use the lateste plugin of woocommerce and wordpress and we use the latest flatsome theme.
With the link below I made a video of what I do and you can see clearly that it doesn’t work.

Hi thanks for the free plugin…

When I have activated “share for discounts”, in all pages of my site (news, articles, guestbook, store) where there is a share button I get the message “share for discounts”, is there any possibility that Appears on all the share buttons?

For example: if I share a news I do not want to appear, but if I share an article or a product if I want it to appear.

Hi I tested using the free version of your plugin. It doesn’t appear to work in mobile format (iPhone 6S+). I have the plugin set to show both the Like and Share buttons for Facebook, but only the Share button appears, and when I click on it, it doesn’t open up facebook, or give any response or feedback. Both buttons appear and work using my laptop.

Hi,

I just tried to use the free version of yith share for discount plugin, the pluign keep showing “this coupon is expired” even if the coupon was just created 1 min ago.

why would this happen?

This happens after updating some of the plugins including woocommerce.

I tried to deactivate all plugins but problem still here.

Hi YITHEMES,
Awesome plugins and themes! This is sort of a feature request and bug report.

There needs to be an included option to make the generated coupons have or not-have the field for “individual use only”, so a site owner can decide whether the share-for-discounts should be applicable to 1 discount per order or not.

Without that functionality, any customer to a site using your plugin (in its current state) can receive a discount on all products in their cart, just by running the share button each time they add a new product to their cart.

So instead of being a 10% off a product, it’s a 10% off cart. All the customer has to do is continue using the share button for each product in their cart.

This is a bug and flaw in this plugin (and the pro version too).

Is there a script that can limit generated coupons to 1 per order?

Love to be able to use your plugin. And the sharing on itself works great; also see how a message how 10% discount has been calculated in shopping cart. Except no discount is showing up in any cart.

I like the idea. I did try the premium on your demo website. When i click on share on twitter, i am not even logged into twitter. I close the twitter page and i have the discount.

Should it work like that? People dont share and get a discount?

I just tried to use this plugin and it didn’t appear in the YITH plugins. I went to the installed plugins list and clicked on settings and got 404 not found. Is there a problem with the way it’s installed, or a fault with the version?
