I want to have a map displayed on my site showing pin points of restaurants. At the meanwhile, I have restaurants info displayed from yelp widget pro. I am wondering if yelp widget had the map feature.
]]>ACCESS_LIMIT_REACHED: You’ve reached the access limit for this client. See instructions for requesting a higher access limit at https://www.yelp.com/developers/documentation/v3/rate_limiting
Is the plugin officially dead now? Getting this error message instead of the widget.
]]>What will happen to Yelp! Widget Pro when it is discontinued 31 December 2018?
We received a notice that Yelp! Widget Pro is being discontinued and that we should “upgrade” to WP Business Reviews. I’ve read through the WP Business Reviews website and it is not clear what will happen to Yelp! Widget Pro.
If we “upgrade” to WP Business Reviews, will we still have the same functionality that Yelp! Widget Pro provided (i.e. displaying “best of” information by location)? Or, is WP Business Reviews a completely different plugin?
From what I can tell, WP Business Reviews only displays reviews for a particular business from many sources. However, when you say to “upgrade”, it leads one to believe the product will provide the initial functionality and more.
Please help me and the many users of Yelp! Widget Pro better understand the changes you’ve implemented. So far your documentation is hazy at best.

Hello, I have this error and I can’t show my reviews from yelp.
How can we fix it?
I am looking at purchasing a premium plugin, but want to confirm we will be able to show all reviews? My client has 110 “hidden reviews” on Yelp and wants to use this plugin to show reviews that are hidden, vs. those that are visible and calculated in Yelp’s algorithm score.
https://wordimpress.com/documentation/yelp-widget-pro/shortcode-explanation-and-usage/
I see the shortcode option for showing only 5 stars, would this apply to “hidden” reviews on Yelp as well?
]]>Saw the response from the developer to someone who was having a similar issue. Made zero sense. Please clarify….
Hi the site is suddenly showing this error
“API_V2_IS_DEPRECATED: This API is deprecated, please upgrade to yelp.com/fusion” for the last couple of days. is the free version not using v3 now? or do we need to upgrade to the premium version?
Hi the site is suddenly showing this error
“API_V2_IS_DEPRECATED: This API is deprecated, please upgrade to yelp.com/fusion” for the last couple of days. is the free version not using v3 now? or do we need to upgrade to the premium version?
As you will see, I’ve installed the free version of Yelp Widget Pro. Created the App to get the API key and then added the widget.
However, I don’t need a widget, I want to display the reviews on a page instead. Therefore, I’m using the shortcode, but it doesn’t work, the page it’s not recognizing the shortcode and displays it as plain text.
I added the shortcode while editing the page in text view, by the way. I actually tried it both ways and even tried it using the ‘<‘code’>’ tag, which I knew wouldn’t work.
I tried everything I could before opening this thread. Please help. Thank you.
]]>I just installed the demo version of the plugin. I have it displayed using the Sidebar Widget. The widget shows up, but no reviews are displayed. Instead, I get this error message: “UNAUTHORIZED_ACCESS_TOKEN: The access token provided is not currently able to query this endpoint.”
I have the Yelp API entered in the settings, and there is at least one review on the Yelp page. Not sure what else I need to do. Thanks for your help
]]>Seems that I am now getting an “INVALID_SIGNATURE: Signature was invalid” error message when trying to display Yelp reviews. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
]]>I’ve noticed that just recently, I’m constantly getting the message “Yelp is exhausted (Contact Yelp to increase your API call limit)”
Anything that can be done about this? I’m using the standard yelp widget pro plugin and it seems the API keys are hardcoded.
]]>So I just downloaded the yelp plugin and I set it up in the footer, but its not actually loading the business. I have tried the slug part of the URL, search terms, it just wont find it, please help!It constantly says business information is unavailable.

Great, so I purchased your plugins and so far so good!!!
One issue is that the Google Places Shortcode builder is not appearing. Not sure why, I suppose I could do it manually, but it’ll get tedious after awhile.
Let me know if you need a site login and how to private message you!
Thanks!
]]>Hello it looks great on my desktop, but when I go to mobile it looks way too big and clunky
]]>I’m hoping to buy your plugin bundle, but I want 100% assurance before I do…
https://wordimpress.com/plugins/business-reviews-bundle/
So long story short, I bought a Yelp reviews plugin and a Facebook reviews plugin, neither work how I want and it’s been a bitch getting refunds.
I need a Plugin that lists the Facebook page, shows the overall ‘star’ rating and a few reviews. I need to do this for many, many, many different Facebook pages.
I need to do the same for Yelp, and Google.
I have learned that Yelp now BLOCKS all WordPress domains, as stated on their GitHub
https://github.com/Yelp/yelp-fusion/issues/218
Kevin W Hoffman seems to claim to work for you folks, and he started the topic.
https://github.com/kevinwhoffman
I need to know that if I purchase your plugin, it will allow me to post Yelp reviews for many, many, different Yelp businesses.
I am building a site, currently hosted on a subdomain, to list all of the pole dance studios across the United States. I will be posting their mission statement, map location, YT video, and reviews from multiple sources.
Here’s the URL : https://www.pole.sweetsolutionsllc.com/
Please let me know if your plugin is safe to purchase and if you will refund me if for any reason it does not work.
Thank you.
]]>Hi,
We’re having an issue where the Yelp plugin breaks the loading of our site if the request it is making to the Yelp API fails.
Error from our logs:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /var/www/repositories/ (…) /dw/wp-content/plugins/yelp-widget-pro/widget.php on line 392
Checking that code/ line #, it looks like you all are attempting to use the response without checking for errors first:
if ( empty( $data[‘body’] ) ) {
While it’s true that the Yelp API shouldn’t go down much (and who knows, maybe our server is just having issues communicating with Yelp), it would be preferable to check for errors and if possible keep the cached results or fail gracefully in the case this request doesn’t work. Otherwise, this causes a runtime error that stops our site from loading correctly.
]]>This widget was working fine and then it wasn’t.
I have it set to no cache.
I have just the business ID

Hello, I’m getting an error with this plugin:
“Business information is unavailable. Either you mistyped the Yelp biz ID or the business does not have any reviews.”
I’ve checked the ID several times (c-and-d-floor-covering-and-maintenance-solutions-bentonville) and they do have reviews.
You can see the issue at https://canddfloorcovering.com/testimonials-test/
What can be done to fix this?

Through this plugin will I be able to set reviews box in my site so that user can left review through my site and that review show on yelp site?
If this work then I will purchase your plugin.

]]>Hello,
Just a heads up, it seems like Yelp is changing their API from Yelp 2.0 to Yelp Fusion. It was difficult for me to find my API keys since the links in your settings no longer work. I eventually navigated my way to this page where I was able to find them: https://www.yelp.com/developers/v2/manage_api_keys
From the Yelp blog:
“With our continued focus on new and improved functionality in Yelp Fusion, we are going to start ramping down work on public API v2. Thus, we will disable new v2 API signups on April 1, but current API v2 keys will continue to work. As soon as we’ve established a timeline for shutting down API v2, we will share it with the community and ensure that everyone has sufficient time to transition their applications.”
https://engineeringblog.yelp.com/2017/02/recent-improvements-to-the-fusion-api.html
It sounds like widgets on API 2.0 might eventually stop working though? Will we need to re-generate Fusion keys for all of our widgets?
Thanks!
]]>I installed the plugin. The link to signup for API access goes to a “page cannot be found” and the support link also goes to a “page not found”…
I am interested in getting the premium version but am not sure if this is broken or unsupported?
Hi! Your plugin seemed to be working fine for a few weeks but stopped working today and shows “Signature was invalid” instead. I tried regenerating our API credentials and deleting/readding the widget but neither of those steps fixed it. Any suggestions?
]]>Trying to add the yelp pro widget onto our website but it doesn’t seem to show up. i am currently using the widget pro but i would like to see live reviews on my site, does it have to be the premium? please confirm which version should i use to display reviews on my site.
or does the pro version do the same? and is there a reason why it is not appearing on our site. i have managed all the steps and somehow it is not working so far.
suggestions?
]]>I have the premium reversion of this plugin and I am trying to incorporate it into my web design layouts. In some designs I need to limit the number of reviews to 1 or 2 so that the review listings fix proportionally into my site design. How can I limit the number of reviews shown? Thank you.
]]>Is it possible to change the background and text color to match the site?
]]>Not sure what is going on with your plugin but I had to deactivate it after several months of no issues.
It caused the following problems for me today:
-website footer not loading (studiopress showcase pro theme)
-WP admin bar not loading (just a white div)
-It caused two other plugins to not work properly (cool timeline and instagram feed)
