I contacted support because of a bug I noticed and provided them with login details. They were quick to respond. Turns out there are problems with the plugin they told me the plugin is no longer supported and they are working on another solution.

I followed the instructions and setup this plugin on both WP and Xenforo.

When this plugin is simply enabled in WP and then I log out of WP and log back into WP, it sets my WP admin account to a subscriber every time and I have to edit the WP database to get back into my WP dashboard.

I have tried every single setting in this plugin on both Xenforo and WP but nothing will stop it from setting my WP admin account to subscriber.

In fact even when Import Roles and Authenticate with XenForo are disabled in the plugin and I log out and log in again, it sets my WP admin account to subscriber.

The only way to stop it from doing this is to disable the plugin.

Everything working fine. User is moved into WP DB etc. The problem is, I have a secondary premium usergroup on Xenforo and have set one up in WP. When the premium user logs in with their Xenforo account details, it still puts them as a WP subscriber and not a WP premium which I have setup as a group in WP. I have set a higher priority for Premium in the WP options but it still keeps adding them as a subscriber. Any ideas what could be going wrong here?

This bridge works fine, but if the user types in his Xenforo username and wrong password, the page freezes completely. You just wait and wait, and perhaps there should be a warning saying that the password is wrong/do not exist?

If the user types in his Xenforo username and the CORRECT password, a new user is created, and it works fine.

Users exist on WP, all plugin options (both on WP AND XF) configured properly with API Keys, but when trying to login on XF with an existing WP user – user is not found and not created

I configured the plugin on both side, no errors or problems.
Seems all ok, but when I try to enter in xenforo with an axisting users (in WP), user is not found. I tried the login with username and also with email.

My xenforo root is : mydomain.com/foro

And all my users in WP are author ( I change the default subscirbers in the option)
My WP version 5.4
My XENFORO 2.1.7

Can you help please ?

I have tried everything to get this to work, authenticating either way and it doesn’t work. Anyone had any luck with this?

I am trying to use this, however it says that it does not work with my current version of PHP. I’ve tried, 7.0, 7.2, and 7.3 yet they all come back and say the same thing. What’s going on?
