Just works exactly how you’d like it to work.
And.. easy to work with for editors, because they don’t have to deal with the widgets section to make a change, it’s just like editing a post.
Thanks a lot!

I needed a WYSIWYG editor for widgets for my clients but needed a way to keep them from accidentally deleting the widget along with all the content. This is perfect implementation, thank you to the developer.

I used this to create a custom link widget – the default link widget just didn’t work for me. But I can see that Widget Content Blocks can be used to solve many widget problems. Highly recommended.

I use this plugin together with the Elementor page builder, and it works great. The advantage is, that my customers can edit their texts without bothering with the elementor UI, instead just use the usual editor.
This is great!

It makes it so easy to have WYSIWYG editable widgets and also use the blocks in my custom templates.

This is an absolutely essential plugin that I have used for many years. It should be part of WordPress Core.
Get it – it’s a no-brainer

Brilliant – should be part of everyone’s toolkit.

This is so good.
I wish where was a link on the widget that could lead user to the selected “widget block” edit page, not only list for all of them.

There are a lot of rich text widgets on the WP repository, but this one simply works perfectly.
Many of others embed the WP editor in the widget itself, that seems buggy, sometimes text not displayed in the editor, sometimes the editor is empty.
This plugin adds a custom post named “Widget Blocks”, so you edit your widget content as same as you do with others posts, this gives you the ability to organize your text widgets.
Once in the Appearance > Widgets page, you add your widget and choose the “Widget Blocks” post you want to show. That’s all. That’s simple and neat.

Easy to use; and you can add duplicated text/images on more then one page! xD

Good plugin.

I tried two other plugins to add images and text to a widget. One didn’t work. The other didn’t have many options for arrangement of text and image. This plugin does everything I can do in a post except it turns it into a widget. Wa-hoo!!! Love it.

I love this plugin. I have designed sites based on this plugin alone! It’s so convenient for one-page layouts, you can just drag and drop blocks of text into place. And if sidebars are used, the same content block can be re-used several times which is really useful! Instead of having to copy paste like you’d have to if using WordPress’ built-in text widget. Thanks a lot for this plugin!

Effectively create a widget block, drag the block to the relevant widget area and choose from the dropdown the specific widget you want to show.
That is the widget content you’ve just created through the wordpress editor and/or using media as well so you are able to create powerful widgets without any coding.
This open up a whole lot of potential to the widget areas.
Brilliant, thank you.

Hi,
I am getting errors with the shortcodes. The element shows up, but there’s a whole bunch of errors messages above it in the sidebar.
Here is one error message, for example:
Strict Standards: call_user_func() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method PHPPC::handle_shortcode() should not be called statically in /nas/wp/www/cluster-40021/welfm/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 286
Strict Standards: Non-static method PHPPC::get_single_snippet() should not be called statically in /nas/wp/www/cluster-40021/welfm/wp-content/plugins/php-code-for-posts/PHPPostCode.php on line 77
Any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks.
