Everytime the page is loaded and the right arrow is clicked, the second slide is skipped. After cycling through the slides, or clicking the left arrow, it works fine.

This is also confirmed on multiple platforms (ios, windows) and browsers (in Chrome, Safarii, and FF) and also occurs on your own site’s demo at: https://wunderslider.com/wordpress/wunderslider-gallery/

hi this is my site . recently we have shifted our sites to a new server with cpanel. but after that the plugin stopped working. i had re-installed a fresh copy of plugin again but still not working. one error showing in firebug is:

I’m trying to setup wunderslider within a custom post type.
When the user clicks a link/div I want the wunderslider slideshow overlay appear in fullscreen (images using 100% width).

e.g.
Here goes some stuff which should open wunderslider fullscreen slideshow overlay when clicked

In the moment I get the image urls from nextgen lecagy using “$nggdb->get_gallery()”, so I could build a custom wunderslider-XML from that.

So how can I make wunderslider appear when the div is clicked, and NOT showing a thumbnail or anything before the div/link is clicked?

I must say, I was hopeful when I discovered this plugin. It didn’t take long to be terribly disappointed, however.

First of all, WHY don’t you mention anywhere that the images will have an overlay over them? I assume this is true for the free version only, but there is NO WARNING in your write-up about it. It reads like it will work just fine with the free version. Why hide the fact that it will look like hell until you fork over some dough? Just be honest.

Secondly, some features don’t work anyway. Like the ‘full screen’ – it displays the image BELOW the entire site! You can see them in the margins behind the site, but that’s it.

Third, it’s poorly set up. You should allow the thumbnails to show below the slider, for one thing, so people can pick from the gallery – that’s why it’s called a “gallery”! This would be much better for desktop viewing, and in my opinion, better for devices as well.

Then it should go full screen once you pick an image to start with, and be able to go back to the gallery when you want.

Meanwhile, we’ll keep looking for a real swipeable solution for NextGen.

I’ve downloaded and set to ‘=false’, but when you click on the thumbnail it opens the attachment page, then click again to open in lightbox. How can i by-pass the attachment page, and open the thumbnails directly in lightbox?

Hi, for some reason when I can’t get WunderSlider working for galleries that are accessed through albums. I have a number of galleries under the one album and i would love it if WunderSlider was the slideshow that’s displayed when a user clicks on a specific gallery rather than it coming up with the defaults NextGen sliders.

How can I resolve this so everytime a user clicks on a gallery using an album, wunderlisder is the slideshow displayed?

Please note:
I have turned all the defaults on. When i use [nggallery id=1] then wunderslider is the gallery that comes up. BUt doesn’t work when I use [album id=2 template=extend] and all the galleries are listed and user clicks on one of the galleries…

hello there,

I’m having trouble working out a fix for my problem/bug.
Once I manually click on the next/previous buttons or the slide selector buttons just once, clicking anywhere on the screen (including the browser scrollbar on chrome and Firefox) makes the slider scroll.

I went to https://wunderslider.com/ and found that the demo sliders have the same problem.

is anyone else having this problem?
I really like the slider, it’s very easy to customise, but I’m not sure if I can use it with this unusual problem.

I downloaded the WunderSlider directly from https://www.itthinx.com/wunderslider/

and it is called 1.3.9 for personal use.

Once installed, it says it needs an update to 1.3.5 and brought me to this plugin update page.

Are they the same? What’s with the numbering?

If I create a background gallery where the images have a width of 1500px and my browser window is 1800, the background image result left aligned and a blank space results (of course) on the right.

I am trying to use this plugin for a photography site… each time I add more than 25 images to a gallery, I get this error appear right on the web page itself, above the (working) slider:

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]:open_basedir restriction in effect. gobbledegook blah blah..

Is this a host issue? If it is, why is it only with more than 25 images… and I have multiple sliders on the page..

I am using the wunderslider to make my nextgen slideshows responsive. I have enabled the custom options but unfortunately the plug in is not giving the desired effect. Am I doing something wrong? I would like my slideshow to retain 100% width of the parent container and the height to remain proportional. If there is any other way of doing this I would be very happy to know.

Hi,
I have seen it is possible to use html in the description of a picture.
When I do : description="line 1<br/>line 2" or description="<p>line 1</p><p>line 2</p>", I get an error “XML Parser error > required on line 3”.
It works with description="line 1 <a href="www.google.com">line 2"</a> but other html tags are not working.
Is there any solution to see the description of a picture on many lines ?

Hello, the slider works very well for me, I’m using it integrated with NNGallery. My only issue is that that photos are not displaying properly with the frame in IE, they’re only about 80%. Where should I start looking?

Using WunderSlider for this site hunaw.com/forhun/press. If I put anything other than plain text in the NGG ‘Description’ field (the caption in WunderSlider) I get an xml parse error.

I want to link each image in my Wunderslider slider, which I believe the documentation says is possible. The images are in the page’s WordPress gallery. If I enter a link in the link URl field in the gallery, WP changes it back.

The shortcode I’m using in my WP page (in visual) is [gallery container_width="100%" container_height="360px" display="proportional" mode="proportional" clickable="true" wunderslider="true"]

I thought clickable=”true” is what would let the image link work. I do know that I can make the caption linkable by adding html <a…> code in the caption field in the gallery. That will work okay but I thought the image itself could link as well.

Thanks for that plugin, it looks great. Nevertheless, I’m having issues for example in full screen mode that the pictures appear BEHIND the blog – just in front of the background image – instead of in front. I’m using it with nextgen galleries (which work fine).

When trying to implement a normal wunderslider (not fullscreen) only the next/previous picture buttons appear.

Do you know what could be the issue here?
