Random products when text box empty

We are using the free version of the plugin and are considering installing the premium version. However, we have some problems:

1) Why do 20 random products appear in the TAB of recommended products when the selection box is left empty?

2) There are several problems when the names of the recommended products are long enough (40 or 50 character strings). The list of names collected for the display of recommended products overwrites the whole form and the introduction of new products can no longer be managed.

Are there any suggestions to solve these problems?

On my webshop I have model-kits
The plugins works good and I see on the single products page other models.
What I want is another block with paint, so a customer can also choose paint that is related to the product.
Is there a option to add another related products field?

Cannot disable on cart page

I have an issue where the related products section is showing on the cart page when I don’t want it to. Not only that but it also shows in a corrupted view.

In the “PC view” about the product where I selected custom related products within the plugin, they appears too large and it shown only one product per view (total 3, 1 per line).

Hello, I have a few related products that need to have variables answered before they are able to be added to our customer’s cart. It works in the related products section to click on the image or description to take my customer to the product page to complete the variables. The issue is when they click the “Add to Cart” button it shows an error because they have not completed the variable info. Is there any way to remove the “Add to Cart” button to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance.

Basically I have been using for years and I have loved it but about 1 month ago

the product pages suddenly started taking 12 seconds or more to load… After disabling and enabling all my plugins I found that the related products plugin was the issue.

If you could help me fix that would be amazing.

When I enable the option for a slider in related products there is a grey bar between the products.
When I disable the slider everything is fine.
Seems like there is a bug/glitch in the slider option?

Hello,

I think your plugin can be really good but right now I’m having an issue that I can’t really understand.

Basically I’m relating my items by category and randomly, to be fair, on the page I linked the 4 results are related, however, it always shows the same 4 related items. When I increase to show 8, it’ll show 8 properly related items, but with every refresh, the same 8 items are shown.

Any advice on how to increase the pool of related items, while maintaining only showing 4?

I have set my custom related products to show ‘Random’ within the same category but it only shows the latest products added, albeit within the same category. I have tried clearing my cache and de-activating plugins to see if there is a clash but nothing works. Any ideas what the problem could be? I really want it to show random products within each category.

Is it possible to display related product only form the last category.
So my product have categories: Grandparent > Parent > Child. And I want to display related products only form Child category. Now the related categories display products form Grandparent and Parent and of course Child. But I want to display only form Child category.

I want to set it up globally for all my products (I have 10000 products). And as well set globally related by atribute? Is it possible?

Save button doesn’t work for Custom option after last update

Hello!

After updating your plugin to version 1.5.3, it turned out that the Save button on the dashboard does not work for the Custom option. For other options the button works. If I change the option from Custom to Standard and save the change, then I can’t go back to the Custom option. The Save button is not responding and the change cannot be saved.

This issue forced me to reinstall version 1.5.2 and now the Save button works as it should.

Please check what is causing the problem and have it resolved as soon as possible.

I created manually the _crp_related_ids field, but it doesn’t work anyway.

Thanks for a great plugin.

We have noticed that on a number of the pages, the incorrect number of recommended products are being displayed.

For example on the page in the link, we have added two related products, yet only one product is shown, if you refresh the page a few times, you will eventually see the other product but it still only shows one product.

In the back end, I have configured “Number of products to display on a page” to 5 for desktop, 2 for tablet and 1 for mobile.
