hi, I tried to upload the backup but it gets stuck at 66%
wp version 6.7
However in the past I have done manual uploads..
and I would also do manual to solve it.
But the only backup I have is of your plugin and I don’t know how to get the files and folders well arranged for manual upload.
can i ?
thanks for your support

]]>Dear Plugin Support Team,
I am writing to request assistance with a backup restoration issue I am encountering on my other domain subdomain,
I have recently moved my WordPress files and database from my main domain to this subdomain, hosted on a different server. I used the export and import feature to complete this migration. The files have been successfully transferred and are now located on the subdomain.
However, when I attempt to restore the backup using your plugin, the process takes an exceptionally long time, which I understand is expected given the file size of approximately 30GB. Unfortunately, after several hours (around 10), I am encountering an error that reads “Restore Failed. File extracting timeout.” This error typically occurs when the plugin is restoring the WordPress core files.
I have attached a screenshot of the error message for your reference.
I am eager to complete this migration so that my developer can test some new changes on the another domain which is hosted on a different server before applying them to my main site.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your guidance and assistance in resolving this issue.

]]>Hi!
Before summer I did a restore to a test server. I do a daily backup with both db and wp files.
Then I had 4 files with a total size of 600Mb. Today I was about to do the same thing. Now I noticed that I have 31 files totaling about about 9.8Gb.
What is going on here and is there something I can do about it?
I just installed the plugin to backup my site but, when i’m trying to authenticate any cloud storage, It’s showing me this error”when i’m trying to authenticate any cloud storage. I don’t have any log in related plugins. Only some effect related plugins and Elementor.”
I tried with Dropbox and Onedrive also
it’s showing the same No Token receive error.
I don’t have any log in related plugins. Only some effect related plugins and Elementor. I also tried to deactivate all my plugins and reinstall WPvivid.
Still the same issue.
I can only backup locally.
Hello,
This would be a pre-sales question as we are considering purchasing your pro version. We are aware we need the pro version for multisite support. But we had a question before purchasing. Is it possible with your plugin to clone one subdirectory child site and install it on another subdirectory child site within the same Multisite? I sent two enquires with this question to your contact us form on your website but never received a reply which worried us. Prompt support is very important with a plugin. If we could receive a response that would be very helpful.
Regards
]]>Backblaze B2 support should be added, either through direct implementation of the B2 API, or via their S3-compatible interface.
The only change needed for the latter option (to support B2 or several other S3-compatible storage services) is to allow the user to override the S3 endpoint URL with an alternative one.
Hi,
I’ve been using WPV to backup a site that natively has about 3.5GB of stored files. The resulting WPV backup size has always been about 1.1GB and has worked fine. A couple weeks ago, without any significant change/reduction of files, the size of the WPV backup dropped to about a third of its normal size (~360MB).
I’ve deleted WPV plugin and reinstalled it, but the file size is still the reduced one. Outside of creating a new site, installing WPV, restoring the new backup and checking the resulting site, is there anyway to verify that this new reduced size backup is not missing anything? I’ve not seen this before.
Thanks.
]]>Hi,
First of all, kudos to the developers for creating such an amazing plugin! I’ve been using it for a long time now, and it’s not only the best but also very affordable.
However, I’m encountering an issue when the plugin starts generating scheduled backups. It consumes almost all of my server’s resources, even though my site is hosted on a robust server with 10 cores, 40 SQL cores, 20GB of RAM, and other ample resources.
When the backup begins, my cPanel shows that 19GB of RAM is being used, and other resources reach 80-90% utilization. This high consumption is affecting my site’s performance, especially when customers are placing or updating orders.
Ideally, I would like the backup process to use only around 50% of the resources, which should be more than sufficient. Could you please guide me on how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance!
]]>Hi,
I used WpVivid to backup website A (wA) then restore to website B (wB). The backup file from wA was 116mb. Restore on wB took longer than expected, compared to other apps, and I almost thought it was stuck but it completed and site loaded. Cool!
I’m using Elementor and noticed the load of the site was a little off, so did a Regenerate CSS & Data; now loading as expected. Then still on wB edited the header, deleted some plugins and ran a db optimizer. Now is a good time to run a backup. Once completed the new backup file size for site wB was 300mb. That’s weird. Did it include the initial backup restore file in the the second backup? I deleted both files, ran another backup and the file size was still 300mb; so it doesn’t include other WPVivid buckups. But I can’t account for the backup file size being almost twice as large. The two sites are on different hosts, but using the current WP version and db versions are not that different.
Is this of any concern?
I already tried restoring using WPvivip on my local host, and it works. But when I try to restore on the VPN, the progress freezes.
Can someone help me about WPvivid restore freezes on VPN, please?

Hi, what I need is to develop the website locally (like on Docker/Laragon/Lando) and push changes (code + database) to VPS. The VPS runs live website with user data. So, If something changes in local development (like we added a table or a column to the database), we have to add it to the website running on VPS without changing the live users’ data. Similar with code. On the other hand, it would be good to pull the current state (like fresh database data) from the VPS to the local development (sync local and dev). Normally, this would be done with git, CI/CD etc but I am feeling lazy, so the question is: can this be done with WPVivid plugin? If so, what I need to buy? Do I need just 1 licence for WPVivid Pro or 2? Do I need something in additon to it? Like Database Merging Plugin for 2 sites (is it an addon for WPVivid?) Do i need to buy something else? Thank you.
EDIT: Oh actually, I need to know if the push will migrate all the changes to VPS (like code changes, db changes, uploaded files etc.).

]]>Hello, I am using the Mamp program on localhost to test out different website functions and when I try to “restore” a download of my website from my web host, by using the WPVivid plugin, to a clean and new version of WordPress on localhost, the restore completes but then the page reloads and I get this error: “Safari can’t open the page “localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait a few minutes, and then try again.”
My MacBook is up to date and Mamp is up to date, when I install a clean and new version of WordPress onto the localhost system everything works perfectly fine and normal, the WPVivid plugin downloads just fine too but I get the error mentioned above only when a “restore” of a downloaded backup completes. I tried refreshing the page and I tried clearing the browser cache, but neither seemed to fix the issue. Any ideas on what went wrong or how I can try to fix this?

]]>Hello there guys,
Just finished configurating a AWS S3 Bucket for my WPVivid backups. Problem is, i find it strange that the backups over at S3 are divided in multiple parts (001-004) has you can see in the image bellow:
So, if i want to download that backup to my local storage, i believe i would have to unzip all together to “build” the proper backup, right?
That seems annoying, is it possible for the backups to just be in one zip file?
Thanks so much,
PP.
