It was on Legacy shortcode, but just changed it to new shortcode. Problem still persosts.
The telegram resources are not loading and causing connection timed out error more frequently.

Hello! Thx fo this plugin, but have some questions and bugs.

Bugs:

1. In js console display error

2. In top of she feed always showing button Loading… with wrong link: https://kapusta-fashion.ru/wptelegram/widget/view/@kapusta_fashion/?url=https%3A%2F%2Ft.me%2Fs%2Fkapusta_fashion%3Fbefore%3D2549 that showing nothing

Questions:

1. How to change language of the widget or translate ?
2. How to disable dark theme of widget?

I want the most recent post from a telegram channel to appear on my site. All I get is the telegram landings page or my website. I don’t know what’s going wrong. In the setup I used the @ address for the channel I want to display

I have added this Ajax shortcode:

…on the bottom of my site but it only shows my own website.

My site uses Litespeed Cache and Wordfence if that’s an issue?

In my google search console, i have many 404 errors. I use the plugin on a single page (noindex), where i add this widget:

[wptelegram-ajax-widget widget_width=”100%” widget_height=”1500″]

How i can solve? I don’t want remove the plugin, but this errors are so serious.

Google Search Console says that the first error was found on 16 Auguts 2022, maybe a problem with some update? I have the plugin since before this date.

Since yesterday, there is a weird behavior with telegram. Instead of showing the messages, it shows sometimes something like “If you have Telegram, you can contact @<channel> right away.“, and there is a popup asking to open telegram.

I’ve provided a link to the widget. If it happens you don’t see the issue (generally you see it after some refresh), here a screenshot : https://i.imgur.com/1cEZ7a4.jpeg

For now, we had to remove the widget.

Hi. Here in germany I would need an opt-in button before showing the channel or connecting to telegram servers because of privacy laws. Could you add an option/setting for this and implement it? Privacy laws here aere very strict and I don’t wan’t to get sued.

Hello, I’m struggling with displaying channel or “Author Photo” in the legacy widget. In the ajax widget it either doesn’t load, but if you scroll up in some messages the logo of the author (Me,(Trejduj)) is visible.

I really like the legacy widget but I was playing with “display author photo” But nothing seems to work. I really want to display a logo instead of the letter “T” in the bubble.

HI, from few hours the widget stop to pull uopdate from telegram. So we have maded some changes and installation of other plugin, but it possible that this installation broke the updating function? Hi, there is any method to personalized the layout of the widget (Legacy) with CSS? I have investigated on the page and have seen that there are more class but all external to website telegram.org (exactly: https://telegram.org/css/widget-frame.css?45) so when i try to personalized this class seems that i can’t and the layout won’t change. So is a simple problem of “cascating sheet” or we can’t modified these class with the simple “custom CSS” section of WordPress? Thank you.

I’m trying to add Group widget (legacy) on a Page, with shortcode (and elementor). I’m using a child theme and didn’t quite understand where to put the additional text. Tried to add it to functions on the child theme and site crashed. Can you help?

Also, after creating a bot, is there another thing I need to do with that bot? Or just create it and add it as an admin to the group?

The plugin will still produce the /v 404 errors. It seems to happen randomly. It is clogging up my logs because this is a bug in your plugin. Please fix this bug. It has been going on for over a year.

I am using legacy widget and no matter what I do it is not displayed on the site. It simply is not even in the source code of the page. Ajax widget does not show messages from telegram either. But at least it is displayed on the page.
My Bot works, I checked it many times.

I want to use the Legacy widget because it is a group.

The widget just won’t show. And I don’t know why. The invite widget works fine.

Can I use this plug with Private telegram Chanel , or it works only with public channels

Somewhere in the background the plugin in request domain.tld/page/page/v for every single page. We get so many emails a day about people seemingly appending a v to random urls on our site. We finally got sick of it and investigated ourselves. It appears to be on any page the plugin is used.

People accessing our site were getting falsely banned from this false positive 404 check.

We use the AJAX widget and have since removed it to prevent this issue from continuing to affect our users.

You can only put a Telegram channel and molaria that you could put more than one since the plugin is super well designed but it lacks that you can put more than one channel at a time to show on the web.
