Hi,

i have installed the FAQ Adon. Unfortunately I get a critical error as soon as I insert a shortcode.

The error also happens to all pages, in posts, pages or product categories. It doesn’t matter whether I use the shortcode with individual questions or with groups of questions.

In the backend, i.e. the pages when I create the questions etc., everything works wonderfully. Just as soon as I insert the shortcode, my site crashes with a critical error.

Where can this error come from and what can I do?

I am new to WPSSO and have two questions on FAQs and will post each separately.

When an Answer has more than some number of characters, in a Post it should … and “Continue reading –>”. Clicking the “Continue reading –>” doesn’t expand the Answer or take you to the Answer page, by rather is the url for the Post page, and thereby takes you to the top of the page.

I’m I doing something wrong?

On the Forum I found how to format the FAQs title with [faq id=”123″ heading=”h2″]

However, I could not find how to format the Question/Answer.

I tried a number of different things, but could not get anything to work.

I have the FAQs at the bottom of the page until I know how to use it.

I wish you could help me with this.
I use a shortcode to put the dynamic year in the title and in the content of the questions, in general in the post.
It was a bit complicated for me because at first glance it works fine, but looking at the source code the [shortcode] appears, not the year (2022)
For the meta tags like title and description of the post I use the plugin dynamic-month-year-into-posts
But for the schema, I don’t know how to make the [shortcode] not appear, but the year.
I know that with filters like this
–add_filter( ‘the_title’, ‘do_shortcode’ );
It would work but I don’t have them from wpsso
An example code is this:
“name”: “All-Inclusive Vacation Packages [year]”
I need it to be like this
“name”: “All Inclusive Vacation Packages 2022”

Hello,

after one of the latest updates of either the FAQ addon or the WPSSO Core plugin I cannot see the shortcodes for my questions anymore.

I can see all of the questions but no shortcodes. When clicking on the icon to copy a code into the clipboard, I get the error message:

TypeError: Cannot read property value of ‘null’.

I also tried this on a fresh WP install where I just activated the FAQ and Core plugins and the shortcodes also don’t show up. Please fix.

Been asking for help for sometime with this issue. Can I just disable this schema?

I have inserted a faq category shortcode into my page.
I would like to change the order of the questions.

right now the default order appears to be alphabetical.
I would like to have custom order.

Isee that I can set a number for the order of the questions, but apparently, it does not change anything.

When i create Faqs, then use short code in post, it linked to Faq, not show whole faq in post.

It should show faq with in post , no link to it, and it also create faq page, that’s duplicate . mysite.com/answers/my-faq1/

why create such page, and as i said, in post, it link to that created page.

@type dentist does not show within my structure data. I have:
“Organization, ImageObject, WPHeader, CreativeWork, Website, SiteNavigationElement”.

Need schema for “Dentist” also and am not sure why it didn’t show up as I selected dentistry.

I purchased the premium x3 plus the additional add-on purchases (x3). Was hoping I would get better results than what I was getting after the reviews I read.

Will this allow ‘stars” reviews to be displayed in google search results I thought I saw that it would.

Latest versions of everything. WPSSO and JSON-LD installed.

Not sure why yet I seem to activate it I get a success message, but it doesn’t stay activated. Just an FYI.
