Quick question : would it be possible to modify it to add support to lazy load the “Fanpage Like Box” ?
It seems like the SDK to be loaded is not the same as yours but I don’t know if FB changed it recently or if you didn’t update the sdk (?).
Hopefully this can be done without reinventing everything ??

]]>I tried using the theme HrmonoUX Core. The theme requires the wpsocialite plugin. I installed both of them and my site just stopped working after that.
It just showed me a white page.
For some users of my web site the original buttons do not load (the users do not have any script-blocking browser plugins installed and have tried different browsers). That is strange because for me the buttons are loading on hover, even on a tablet.
When those users click on the custom Facebook icon a Facebook log in window correctly opens but the original Facebook button and counts still do not load.
I have disabled JS minification and cleared the cache of my web site but it did not help.
What could be the reason?

]]>Nice looking plugin but can you confirm whether shortodes work with this plugin.
I’m finding too may social plugins that want to show social share in standard places but web design is different now, we need to position them in different places so short codes are vital. Also short codes that have many options in them.
A great example of how complex shortcodes are used is Justified Image Grid. You can customise like you would not believe and then add the shortcode where you want.

id like to use my facebook page for the ‘like’ button and my website URL for my Google+ button,
Ive done this by editing line 524 of wpsocialite.php and changing:
data-href=”‘.$link.'”
to
data-href=”https://www.facebook.com/pages/MYFACEBOOKPAGE”
I was wondering if this could be added as an option (like the twitter username) for future updates, just so I dont have to keep changing this each time I update your plugin.

]]>I’m trying to add a simple Facebook Follow-button to a web site that has WPSocialite installed, but there seems to be a conflict between them as the counter shows zero.
Tried exchanging the Follow-button with the short code for WPSocialite/FBLike for the same Facebook-page and the counter was then correct.
My problem: I don’t want this Follow-button to have lazy loading activated.
Is there a way to get around this conflict and have an instance w/o lazy loading? Worst case I can go with the Like instead of Follow.

However recently a new issue arised : the data from FB & Twitter is retrieved on page load despite the configuration being set to “scroll”.
In the past the data from external services were only retrieved once the user scrolled…
Any idea where this might come from ?

Unfortunately with 3.9.1 and using a Genesis theme, I’m suddenly getting serious lag. I can’t be 100% sure it’s not another plugin adding to a conflict but I haven’t changed anything so I’m wondering whether it’s possible something may have changed when upgrading to WP 3.9.1. I notice that a lot more junk loads with WP 3.9.1 and far too many extra asset files. Hopefully we’ll figure this one out but, for now, turning this plugin off makes a noticeable load time difference — which could be one of the social networking sites themselves.

I am using on my site WPSocialite version 2.4.1 with WordPress version 3.9.1. I am currently running in an issue where once you Pin an article, there is a 2nd Pop Up box from Pinterest that appears to allow you to see on Pinterest the item you just pinned for barely a second before disappearing. I wanted to know if this a normal behavior of the plugin or if there is a fix available for it.

This is a popup window for a logged out or a logged in user, but not admin, to invite friends so it calls tinymce but the wpsocialite button for that case should be only to admin users.
I tried to hide it with:
.mce-toolbar .mce-btn-group .mce-last {
display: none!important;
}but it didn’t worked. Any advice for how can I hide this button?

Although the use of facebook-like is more prevalent, facebook-share also has its uses. Some websites might prefer to use facebook-share while some others might choose to use both.

]]>Hi, I use the WPSocialite for a multisite solution (wordpress network) and everything works fine but I can not get the Facebook Like button to be local. The Tweet button changes language depending of what site language I have activated in admin/settings but not the Facebook button. Any solution for this?
]]>I noticed that the js for the plugin is essentially being loaded twice. If I comment out the line that en-queues wpsocialite.js, the minified copy is still loaded so the plugin works fine. Why load both?
]]>I’m using 3.8.1 and I’ve noticed errors related to the facebook js on a couple of sites. You should be able to view them in firebug. It looks like the facebook icon is trying to resize or something and it never can. On these pages it’s screwing the whole page up (See the large space at the bottom of the page.)
