Unfortunately going forward We will not be updating or supporting this plugin. After a lot of consideration and discussion, we have concluded that we will no longer be updating WPSiteSync and its Premium Extensions. This was a difficult decision for us to make as we know that many of you rely on it in order to enhance your WordPress Workflow.
The decision was made due to the fact that with each extension being dependent on the code of the plugin that it supports, we could not keep up with their changes as we enhanced our library, and frankly, there was not as much demand for it as we had hoped.

]]>Hi, I need to synchronise 2 production sites with 2 stage sites.
One site is an e-commerce (woocommerce), with polylang, and WP Bakery Builder and other plugins (free and premium)
The other site is identical, with woo-commerce active, but only as a catalogue (no product sales).
There are also some customisations (child-theme, and custom plugins that work on woocommerce, and with a synchronisation towards an external management system)
is it possible with your plugin to synchronise both the files and the database from the production sites to the stage? (products, orders, custom post type, post meta…)

]]>I am testing wp sitesync. But posts that have a script tag, for example an embedded Twitter tweet, like this:
<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>,
don’t have the this tag in the target site.
All content is synced, but I think this script tag is filtered out. That means that posts with an embedded tweet is not synced correctly.
Is this a bug, or is it intentionally? Can I make WPSiteSync also copy this script tag?

The source domain is research.org.cy and target domain is research.org.cy/horizoncy.
From the tests that I did I have noticed that images (featured and content images) were transferred in the media library of the target site successfully.
But for some reason the content images always have the path https://www.research.org.cy/horizoncy/horizoncy/wp-content/uploads/image.jpg which is wrong. It has “horizoncy” twice.
I am using no editor when creating the posts. Just classic editor.
Any idea on how i can resolve this please?

An HTTP 500 error occurred in sending the request to the Source site.
Getting this kind of error while syncing the post content. Syncing of Page content is working fine but the issue occur only when I am trying to sync Post Content.

I just installed WPSiteSync for our website on both our source and target site. I am quite confident everything is set up correctly since I followed the instructions step by step. My problem is, there seems to be something missing with the Plug-in because
A. The WPSiteSync Logo does not appear but rather the missing file/image icon with the text “WPSiteSync logo” next to it.
B. More importantly, when I click the dropdown button, nothing happens. So when I go to push to target, I see no animation nor do I see the changes reflected on the target site.
Can you help me understand what is going on? I am very close to getting it to work properly but for whatever reason I keep encountering the same issue with the inability to open the dropdown and therefore push content to the target.

]]>I want to sync a page between two subsites from two multisite networks. Example URL:
mydomain.com/subsite/subdirectory-1/mypage/
After syncing, the above page shows up on target site. Cool. What I notice is that there’s a page gone missing from the target site. It has the same slug but lives under a different sub directory:
mydomain.com/subsite/subdirectory-2/mypage/
So I re-sync the page that went missing. After that my fist page is gone.
The plugin somehow got things mixed up. It’s too chancy and unstable. I’d have to stop using it for now before it causes more damage.

Understand that WPSiteSync takes care of feature images. Though this is very limiting. It’s common that a content page include more than just a feature image on a modern web site. Having to manually upload images to the target site and retype all the meta info for each image defeats the purpose of WPSiteSync – because manually copying page HTML and text and pasting to target is easier and dealing with images.
How about having an extension for syncing the entire media library along the image metedata as well?

]]>I read about the issue of the plugin overwriting the content of pages that has the same title/slug but different parent pages. I hence changed the title and slug but it still creates the same issue. It keeps overwriting the files. Is there a cache issue? I tried clearing cache several times and even tried with different admin account but the issue is persistent. Any assistance would be really appreciated.

When we push it to another site, it removed one “Brand” since it focus on post title and/or slug. Unless I change “Brand” slug to brand-2 and it works but it not what we want since it under parents.
]]>For security reasons, we have XML-RPC and JSON REST V1/V2 disabled on our site. In addition, we have rewrites in place to mask all default WP paths, such that you wont be able to access /wp-admin for example.
