edit both ” wps-visitor-counter-count.php and wps_visitor_counter_views.php” files with this

date_default_timezone_set('Europe/Istanbul');
$date = date("Y-m-d"); // Getting the current date

You can use your own country zone…

In the right column of https://joanv36.sg-host.com, “Visitants”, the counter only shows code. It seems to be that the plugin don’t recognize the domain joanv36.sg-host.com maybe because insert some extra code…

How can it be fixed?

since some days i see that teh stas shown on the website are totally different then from my matomo installation…

Example, today 4 Visitors in Matomo nearly 5k Vistors, yetserday nearly similar 7 in WPS and more then 7k in Matomo…

I don?t know whas i going on there in the moment, but i think that since i git more the 50k Visits on one day (exeptiona) the Counter did not work correctly anymore. Is it possible to reset the stats some way, that the actual stats are shown correctly again?

Is there a way to reset all the counters?

The visitor counter displays the number of unique visitors, but I want it to display the total number of page views. (The same number in the options for ‘enable total views display’ but I want that to be the main stylized counter number, not plain text below.)

What plugin files do I have to edit to get the main counter to grab that number instead?

Time Zone issue:
Our website uses a shared server on a hosting service.
I have set the “Local time” in our website php.ini file to America/Chicago. So, when I run phpinfo it shows Local time zone as America/Chicago (US Central time) but the “Main server” still shows UTC.
I have contacted the hosting service and they advised the Main time zone cannot be changed since this is a shared server.

Because of using the UTC time instead of Local time, my daily stats reset 5 or 6 hours (depending on DST) before the end of the day.

Is there a way to use the “local server time” or do an “offset” from UTC for the local time?

The last post with similar concerns I saw was posted and replied to 4.5 months ago. In the reply, it said the time zone option would be added to the next update.

The server “time” actually only outputs the UTC date. No time is displayed.

Is there a “time out” on this? If I leave one computer logged into our website and use another device to check the stats later, sometimes it shows one or more and sometimes it shows zero logged on.

The who’s online is not a huge deal but the Time Zone is. Any idea when the next update will come out?

I have a WordPress ‘Multisite Directory’ site (not ‘Multisite Domain’) and when using the plugin it works on the first site, but not on the other sites. I cannot save the settings on the other sites. It does work correctly for the first site.

It would be nice if you can add that I can translate the labels of the widget text in my own language.

Hi!

My plugin has been resetting at the wrong time. Changed the time zone to preferred city and checked the plugin it still did not follow the changed time but follows the universal time.

Tried again by offsetting with the UTC and although local time is fixed but the plugin still follows Universal time zone.

Any help appreciated! TIA

Just downloaded ur plugin, its working fine, and really happy with the performance, this query is about the spacing between the widgets, have placed the widget on the sidebar as you can see on the website. It’s in between sub category and search, would like to have equal spacing between them.

The number seen by visitors varies wildly from what I – as an admin – see. How does that work? Dont visitors see the actual number and doesnt it update for them? Does it only work for admins?

Hi is there any way to set default count to start from 8000 and not zero?

Nice plugin to show the number of today’s views.

I expected the number to be reset at midnight but it wasn’t.

When I checked on the server time, it is not the same of my server time.

Is there any way to fix?

The only problem is that when I use cache plugin (Litespeed Cache), it does not update the counter in the widget.

This Plugin has been installed and it has been noticed that the settings are fixed and have not changed on the page on a daily basis unless the user is logged in on the control panel or otherwise it has not changed and the settings are fixed with a change.
