Yeah, finally I don’t have to copy-paste from my previous posts! I’ve had hard times trying to set post templates before I found this plugin. Thank you guys and keep going on!

It applys only to the “post”-posttype and cannot be used for other or at least all posttypes.

We have a lot of regular features on our blog, and this plugin makes sure they have the same style throughout, even for less techy bloggers. I spend a lot of time setting up specific font colors/sizes, text layout, shortcodes, and post header images for certain features, and all my authors have to do is click to pre-populate dummy content. Then they just replace each area with their own text, and post!
The only issue I’ve had is the strange recurrence of \’s in saved templates. On the upside, they don’t affect the functionality of the template, and they don’t mess up the final content at all. They just look odd while editing.

Found this after looking for a replacement for Article Templates, which was throwing errors and hasn’t been updated in years.
Bravo! I post a lot of articles that follow a given format (this month’s new releases, reviews, etc…). It’s a pain to go to an old post and copy/paste/replace content every week.
With this plugin I need only enter it once (including boilerplate title and excerpt) and the with the push of a button while starting a new post it just appears. Shaves hours off content creation every month.
