I would like to allow my users to sign up for a new blog with a username contains “point”.
user.name.maindomainname.ext
New blog receives own subdomain.
Point is allowed in the sub-domain names by my hosting provider.
Broken in latest release because the case-text for no dashes has been updated by WP core.
Any chance I could be added as a maintainer?

Hi, just installed your plugin in within a German network. Unfortunatly with no results. Could it be, that I need to translate all error messages in your plugin to make it work?
Or is there another solution?
Thanks for your help

]]>Before WordPress 3 I used the WPMU Blog Name Restrictions Override plugin to set a limit on blog names to no less than 5 characters. It doesn’t work for me now. Users can ignore my rule and register 4-character names because I can’t restrict it anymore.
Is there any way to do this? I’ve tried messing around with wp-login.php but no luck.
