When bots are looking for specific plugins on your site, it’s never a good sign.

Here, they’re looking because it enables them to upload files and use its cache directory to execute PHP and run arbitrary commands.

Ooops.

If you’ve installed this, your site has almost certainly been hacked.

The plugin has lot of bugs. Support does not answer questions. When i mail them they ask to put queries on support and here they do not bother to answer. Worst support, lot of bugs.

I just spent three days and countless hours trying to understand why in the world my site kept returning fatal error after fatal error and glitch after glitch. I tried going through each plugin one by one and narrowed it down to other plugins and took my attention off of WP Marketplace.

Then I remembered reading the reviews for WP Marketplace and how buggy and poorly coded it was supposed to be. So I changed my theme to TwentyFourteen, for which the customization/live preview page would not work for me. Voila! The theme worked perefectly when I deactivated WP Marketplace, and screwed up everything again when I reactivated it. In sum–it’s simply a bad plugin–the ones people warn you about when they say it’s not quantity but quality when it comes to wordpress plugins…even with a good idea behind it.

I really really really wanted to like this plugin because of all the cool features it lists for free and the fact that all other ecommerce plugins that let users sell are costly. But I never even got a chance to really try it out. Hopefully the developers will re-do the code properly (please let me know if you do), but unfortunately I will have to fork over 100 bucks for premium plugin that doesn’t even do half the things WP Marketplace claims it can do.

PS. If you don’t believe me, try it for yourself: Install TwentyFourteen theme and try to visit the customize/Live Preview page to edit the theme–Then install WP Marketplace–Then deactivate all other plugins–Next try to visit the TwentyFourteen customization page again…you may notice that you cannot do anything here. Deactivate WP Marketplace and everything works fine again. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

The Plugin is written in a code thats absolutely awful. Support does not answer questions.

Do not purchase this plug-in nor any extends that accompany the paymentt gateway options. Scam and pointless.

Tried to install this but it failed because the WordPress installer said it was missing a stylesheet.

I used FTP to install it into the themse directory and tried to activate it from the themes control panel – failed:

WPEden have no means to trial their products without purchase. If after purchase you decide that it wasn’t what you wanted they will refuse a refund.

If this was after 30 days we would understand but we asked for a refund the next day after spending far too long trying to get their garbage to work. What makes this worse is that PayPal have no buyer protection for digital goods so these punks get to keep it.

I tried this plugin it was the same i was looking for. guys what else you can expect in free? it has lots of good features to create a very good marketplace website.
The best part is they helped me when i asked for it.
author updating this plugin on regular basis. so 5* from my side.
simple to use and configure.

It’s a pity because it has a nice simple interface.
I spent 2 hours to configure it with Bootstrap eCommerce theme by thecartpress and with the standard 2011.
The theme works fine but this plugin has many missing features.
1- I set variation for digital product but no relation button is shown to connect the file to a specific option. This means that changing language or whatsoever isn’t possible.
2-currency symbol isn’t shown in the buttons and page
3-no way to set featured picture in the page (beside the wp options)
4-to select market country distribution you must check one by one, no select all button available
Maybe more details is missing…I suggest you don’t use this plugin for selling digital product with multiple options and different language than english.

WP marketplace is the most perfect plugin to build your marketplace. It is very easy to use, clean admin options and worked perfectly for me without any tweaks.

Not sure why this has such high reviews unless it only recently broke. The checkout process is a mess of messy code. PHP errors on a fairly standard install, js errors and a half-finished user creation script. Will be great when it’s a little more polished. A word of warning, you’ll might need to enable sessions if you’re on a cheap host.

When a customer selects options that change the price of the item, I would like to see the price change on the screen so that the customer is not trying to do math in their head.

Example:
Base price for shirt = $10
option 1: (add $3.00 for XXL)
option 2: (add $10 for custom logo)
option 3: (add $5 for tye-dye pattern)

Screen should now show the running total as being $28 as the options have been added/updated. Currently, the only way to view the new total is by going to the cart.
