Hello,
prior to WP/LR sync I’ve been using other plugins that add a taxonomy to the WP “media” (attachments) so that I have “photo categories” and “photo tags” for every photo (attachment). I have custom archive pages and more built around those.
It would be fantastic if I could map the WP/LR folders to those “photo categories”, and the LR keywords to “photo tags”, respectively.
Thanks for considering this.
Alex.
Hi, Jordy. I love working with your WPLR sync plugin and the MLA Media Library Assistant plugin from David Lindgren which does the gallery stuff fo me. I am using always on soecial shortcode. I have questions regarding the Mode field in the COLLECTION (LR) → POST TYPE (WP) Section.
1. I would love an EMPTY entry and expect to create a simple post without any defined shortcode or Array for building a gallery structure. As of today this would work for me, cause my theme ‘Generatepress’ allows me to enter any shortcode, id. a MLA gallery shortcode using a certain hook.
2. In case I would remove the hook solution it would be nice to put the “shortcode” directly as a string into the plugin settings. In that case I expect the plugin to put this string into a shortcode block.
I don’t know wether this makes sense. Cheers, Ernst Wilhelm
]]>I have used the Theme assistant, and it seems to work OK, but I was testing with various mappings.
I have a couple of different custom post types, and was testing the different ones.
After I added a mapping, the last mapping gets used, and there is no way to select which mapping gets used with a new gallery.
I would like to remove some of the mappings, but the delete button does not work.
Where are the mappings data stored, so I can delete them manually.
]]>Hello,
since one of your recent updates … not too long ago, i always get an error from theme assistant when i create a new collection in LR. To be more precise, i get the hint to check for debugging. In both logs, local and remote, i’ve found the following error:

Strangely, no pictures are uploaded, but posts with the collection name are created, if i tried mulitple times to publish in LR, i have multiple galleries and posts with the same title. On Line 610 i found this meaningful comment ?? :
// XXX $name might not be initialized
I can dirty workaround that with activating “Catch Errors” in the debugging box. But that feels very uncomfortable..
i have wp: 5.1.1
wplrsync local:5.2.0
wplrsync remote: 5.0.8
