Hello there,
I created a ticket around two months ago regarding the “Something went wrong error.’ As we purchased another plugin “WPSmartPay” I closed that ticket. In around 2 month’s time, WPSmart pay people could not resolve the issue.
The issue is the same error comes with your plugin as well. Though it works fine in the Sandbox environment.
When we dug deeper we found that our public key is not being validated (in fact it is not even shown on the panel. We had to use a direct URL.) Upon inquiring with Paddle we got this reply:
“Paddle introduced a new generation of Paddle platform, Paddle Billing, in August. All accounts that were created after August 8, 2023, are built on the Paddle Billing platform.”
and:
“Based on the information so far, it is possible that this plugin is built for Paddle Classic only and doesn’t support Paddle Billing. Please contact the developer and confirm more details.”
The issue is we are on the new Paddle Billing account type and for this reason your plugin does not seem to work. I can provide you with the actual account login details etc. so that you may look into the problem.
Resolving this issue is for not only for our sake but for all the new Paddle customers.
Kind regards.
]]>Hello there,
I’m trying to integrate your plugin into my website. Presumably I have entered all the info correctly. Still I am getting the error “Something Went Wrong” from Paddle.
Can you please help me out with that?
Regards.
]]>Hi, I like your product and it works well with EDD.
Are there any plans for supporting pre-defined products (Catalog>>Products)? This is an important feature because pre-defined products can be assigned to different TAX/VAT categories internally with Paddle. Depending on the category, VAT calculations differ. Without support for pre-defined products VAT calculations are not correct for products types that are exempt for VAT or have reduced VAT rates.
I’m also missing support for inline checkout and popup checkout. Taking the customer away from my site for payment as the plugin currently does is not ideal.
