Do not use! it Deletes good tables

It does detect tables that are empty, which is a big difference from tables that are not used. So once you get the list you must really search the web for every single name, to find out that the web is not helpful at all.
All in all, counting the very few other plugins that are supposed to help you in this matter (they all do half the job and are far too outdated) I believe we are still far beyond the moon.

Brilliant and effective.
Gets rid of loads of clutter that plug ins leave behind.
There shouldn’t even be a need for this plug in, but even pro versions with tens of thousands of installs don’t necessarily ask if you want to retain data as part of uninstall.
Since having it I have been far more likely to give a plug in a test run, knowing this will tidy up after it.
BUT
3 years without an update, it is getting scary to use it.
If ‘wpsolutions’ is out there and reads this, come back man. I would love to see ‘update available’ in my plug in list.

Simplemente cumple con lo que promete, mi instalacion de wordpress tenia ya 60 tablas de las cuales me dejo unicamente las necesarias y mi sitio sigue funcionando perfectamente.

Seemed to work well on WP 4.5.3. Deleted many unused tables from old plugins.

Don’t be put off by the fact that the plugin hasn’t been updated in 3 years. Just tested this on my blog and it still works great. Found a bunch of database tables that old plugins left behind and was able to remove them without any issues!

I’ve been searching for a better plugin to hunt down unused tables and this plugin is the best I’ve tried, Simple and it works.

Hi,
Just thought to drop this in…
I have just tried this plugin today as my DB (Listing Directory) was mega slow after tons of plugins test and deleted had left hundreds of tables behind!
My site slowed down to a crawl!!
Applied this plugin, cleaned up the tables and BAM!!! > Such a difference!
In short, it works wonderfully well even though it has not been updated for 3 years!
Congrats to Dev, look forward to an update, create a Pro, I’ll buy it!

Yes this plugin is not updated for years but it always works as a charm and to my knowledge no other does the job as simply.

Even though it hasn’t been updated. This plugin is a master at cleaning unused tables left by uninstalled plugins.

It does what it says. Very helpful.
Thank you

I installed every up to date cleaning but nothing touched uninstalled plugins. Until I installed WPDBSpringClean.
But I only used the Unused table search. Worked like a charm.
I did NOT use DB table optimize. I think that would be too risky with such an old plugin. So keep that in mind.

No matter what times you set on WP, certain hosts will time-out this plugin. Ultimately, you will get a 500 error. This needs to be re-structured so the process runs in the background slowly, then give you a report. Otherwise, it’s a pretty useless plugin.

I’ve tried many plugins since the inception of my blog in 2008. I’ve deleted many of the plugins but they left many tables in MyPhpAdmin even through I had deleted the plugins and when offered, the files as well. I still had a lot of old database tables leftover.
I looked for a plugin that could clean up the database tables since I was concerned that all the used data would slow down the functionality of my site. I found this plugin.
Most people that have reviewed the plugin said good things, but a handful gave me caution, therefore, I backed up my files and database and uploaded the WPDBSpringClean plugin and activated it.
It was intuitive to use and there were simple short instructions built right in to the plugin’s interface.
it worked beautifully well. It appears that it locates the old database tables associated with any deleted plugins. It doesn’t seem to locate any tables of installed plugins regardless if they were activated or not.
It gives you a ticker box next to each located table for deletion, so you can pick and choose. I chose to delete all of the ones it identified. I used the default settings of the plugin.
Afterwards, I clicked on the optimize tab in the plugin and it only found that comments needed to be optimized. I did that as well.
Nothing I wanted was deleted. The site ran faster and I’ve had no problems at all.
It would be great if the developer of this plugin would occasionally verify that the plugin works with the latest versions of WordPress, but they seem to have moved on. They don’t even answer support comments on this forum.
So, if you wish to try this plugin, backup your database before trying.
I rated the plugin 5 Stars and would use it again.

Great, al lot faster than going about it via CPanel!
Wish this plugin keeps updated for security reasons.
So far no issues even with 4.1

unless you have ONLY ONE WP installation on your database and nothing else!
This thing is crawling the whole database regardless of the tables origin!
So you are in danger of deleting tables belonging to a different application and not to your wordpress installation!
Really bad logic behind this plugin, very dangerous to use!

If you have a backup go ahead and use this. I never had a problem, but then if I do, I can always go back to the way things were.

I’ve taken note of the concerns raised by other users/reviewers. In my case, though, it worked just find to get rid of tables relating to plugins I had deleted and which didn’t clean up after themselves.
The fact that it was last updated more than a year ago is a concern.

I have used other cleanup plugins in the past and was very hesitant, but decided to try this on one of my test sites. We install and deinstall many different plugins every month for testing purposes, so there are definitely leftovers to be removed. To be safe, I made a database backup before using the plugin.
After running the search function, the plugin found 152 leftover tables unrelated to current plugins. I deleted them using the plugin. I then used the optimize feature as well. OMG! My test site has not worked this fast since I originally installed it!
Afterwards, I tested every current plugin we have installed and are using, along with creating a new page and new post. No problems whatsoever.
I do recommend WPDBSpringClean.

Hi!
I need to say that this is the best and easyiest way to clean your WP data base from so many bad written plugins that leave their junk uin db after you uninstall them.
It works great with 3.9.1
But still caution is advised and if you are not familiar with editing your db do read it carefully and don’t delete everything that this plugin offers…
Great work dev.!
