I can search + find all orphan tables correctly + when I do a bulk delete, there are no errors reported + tables are never dropped.
No indication in debug.log about any problems.

]]>I wanted to do a clean install of a plugin on my site so after deleting it I ran WPDBSpringClean. However, after re-installing the plugin I’m getting a database error saying there are missing database tables??
]]>I discovered quite by accident that wpdbspringclean does not work correctly on multi-site installations, and now I have a demolished database. Unfortunately, my automated backup was not activated and so I am unable to restore the database to the form it was in before this plugin literally gutted my site of around 15 or so sub-sites.
I can accept that I should have taken extra measures in advance to ensure the database was backed up, however I also fault the documentation for this plugin for failing to mention incompatibility with multi-site configurations. I had previously had excellent success from this plugin on a single site and so I felt confident based on experience that it wouldn’t be a problem.
Please update the documentation to make strong warning against use of this plugin on multisite installations, because it tends to destroy all of the subsites and leaves the main site in a nearly unrecoverable condition.
As it is, I’m now going to have to rebuild my site from scratch.
Now, as I say, I don’t fault anyone but myself for not performing a backup prior to using a plugin that I had seen work without issue in the past… I had what I believed was good reason for not wasting time on that, and it turned out I was wrong. But to help others avoid this, it would be prudent to update the documentation to mention this.

]]>Hi I have just downloaded and activated this plugin to get rid of leftover tables from All In One WordPress Security and Next Gen Gallery, plugins I deleted several months ago.
I performed the search and it correctly found the redundant tables, and I ticked all and clicked the Delete option.
I then went over to my server, looked in my cpanel html, and the tables were still there. They no longer show up when I search with WPDBSpringClean though. What’s going on?
I know I can probably delete them from my cpanel, but I don’t like removing files from there as I’m not a web developer, and I thought the whole idea of this plugin was to remove those files from my database.

]]>This is a great plugin. This question is not a problem with it but a how to. There are a number of tables it finds that have obscure names that I don’t recognized. A long time ago I found what looked like the repository of all the plugins for wordpress. I did a search on it and found some code I was looking for. Now I can’t seem to find it again. Is anyone aware of a place to search for table names created by plugins?
Also I will re-ask the unanswered question below, how does this plugin know if a table is being used or not?

I have a local installation using xampp, WordPress 3.6, and have used a fresh install of the plugin. I have also deactivated all other plugins except for this one and still it continues to have the fatal error and plugin hangs.

I presume this means you’ve hard-coded the wp-content directory.

ive delete table like wp_txtimpact_subscribers / wp_post_relationships
When im passing over various tool on dashboard sidebar the men are not coming out, ive to click to get them. Also all quick cash option has disappear.
Alos i can not use the media uploadder, when im clickng the button, the windown for uploading is not poping-up, and can not even add tags when i add a tag and click the button its doing nothing
This issue happening only with firefox and not chrome.

Unable to activate, need to deactivate all my plugins before.
After activation, just run an analyse (no DB change)
then try do deactivate the plugin and then my site crash (too many redirections).
I removed all my plugins and I was able to restart my site.
I re-uploaded all my plugins, except WPDBSpringClean and I got the same error.
I had to recover from a backup ??
This plugin have to be perfectionned, BACKUP your site before testing !

But it looks like the only plugin that checks the database for un-used tables by de-activated plugins, which is exactly what I need.
