Perfect plug in. I had a list of words I did not want to manually add as post-tags. This plug in did it for me in about 1 sec. Just a quick copy paste, and -boom- all words are a tag.

I used it to convert tags into categories, but it didn’t quite pick up everything. I had to manually go through all 45 posts in this blog to really get it right.

It did get me onto a good start though and tag descriptions were imported successfully as category descriptions, thankfully.

Yes, it worked. The entire operation went smoothly but my tags page is now totally broken. Categories seem to work fine, which is strange because they’re both ‘archives’. Neither I, nor my theme’s developer, can figure out what happened, but one thing is for sure: this plugin broke my tag pages.
I had to 301 redirect hundreds of tags until I can figure out what happened.
