Hi Jake,

A client of mine is using your wonderful plugin on their website. They have asked me about the addthis requests made on the back-end and how to turn them off.
The wpbooklist_admin.min.js file contains many mentions of “addthis” and it doesn’t seem to be an easy switch-off task.

Can you give me some tips on how to turn it off, if it is ever possible?

Or at least explain why you need it in your plugin.

When I want to edit a book in many cases it doesnt save the changes. The button just loads without saving. Will this be supported and also will you get back with this plugin working?

Things seem to be working fine with the exception of the stats info. the “signed” stat always reads the same number as the “finished” stat, even though I have no signed books, Please help as I would like this to read correctly

I’m trying your free version of the booklist and so far it looks great for our purposes!

The only thing not working is the search function which always redirects to the homepage of my wordpress; and the sorting dropdowns end up refreshing the page without sorting anything!

I am trying to add books and they are failing to find any entry via Amazon.

Have you done anything or has your key topped out with regards to entry limitations as I now can’t add any books via the automated method.

I am still on version 5.8.4 due to the VB modal issue as previous sent via email. I am using the Human pro theme version 1.1.18 and I am also on WP 5.1.1

There are no other conflicts on our model.. System info sent to you via email direct..

I hope you can take a look at the API issue as this is a big problem for us, If I could, I would set up our own key but we do not qualify for an associates account.

Just thought I would let you know that I can’t use your latest version 6.1.7 /6.1.8 on our website (Hueman theme) as the books don’t display VBmodal in your new equivalent of Lightbox.

E.g. when any of the books are clicked on from the list on the page to display its meta, it sits one layer behind (like Z-index is not set low enough to set it fully model ) further more the search boxes are all aligned left and does not look pleasing also to see the date fields set vertical..

I wonder if you can supply a fix?

The advance area on our theme may be also no longer valid as the ccs rules (names) may also be different now in you new version so I would also need a new listing of your CSS rules.

This is what I have set currently in my customiser additional CSS and seem to be working

WP Booklist was working really well on our site till recently. When first set up, there was an option to either use the default library or create a new library. I created a new library. Recently though the page appears to be a “ghost” of what it was and unusable now. Going into it it seems that the new library was deleted and only the default library is available. Yes, I’m willing to redo the entire library using the default library, but can I get the old library back?

I have posted and emailed multiple times over the last few months and had no replies. The add book functionality just stopped working. Please help!

I suggest add BibTeX support – import from BibTeX file.

Hello, I test your extension and I meet a strange problem. The front cover image is defined but is not showing in book’s pop up (it shows in library’s gallery).

I am evaluating this plugin for book reviews on our website, with a main review, that others can then add to.

But there’s no section called review.

Can we change Notes to Review?

Or have a review category?

I’ve been experimenting with this.

And getting some inconsistent results.

When a book is created, it adds a featured image to the post. This is something I don’t want, because the featured image creates a massive image on the post in the blog post loop. And on the post page.

Also, in my case, I want it to always create a blog post so that should be set by default.

I have the Jetpack subscription option enabled, where when a new post happens, it sends an email. In that post, it has text of “DO NOT DELETE”

I found this text was in the relevant post.

So the review text was not put in the post at all…

I am currently testing the plugin and it seems to be working almost correctly.

However, Book View Display Options are correctly saved for Default Library but it does not seem to work properly for another one. No parameters are saved.

Is there a problem with this feature of the plugin version 6.1.5?

we are using this amazing plugin with our association and we have some books for children, that we use for activities.
Before this last update I made some changes in the code of the plugin, something really small: i changed the label in “country” with “age” in the front-end page display anche also in the back end add and edit a book. I also changed signed with “available?” and publisher with “where is it?”, so we could locate who borrowed the book or used it.

Now I can’t locate the file wich has the front and back end template, where I can change the labels (just the labels, there’s no problem if the original name of the class remains country or signed).

Where can i change them? which is the file?

If I sort by the authors first name or default all is good.
If I sort by authors last name a couple of authors to go missing.

I have cleared the cache and checked in a couple of diff browsers.
Still missing.

In the book view its showing BN when it should be Amazon.

The only Library StylePaks that works correctly is the default.
All of the others, the book popup is behind the books.

We noticed there is no category book field within version 6.1.3. We had to revert version to 5.8.4 again, because we are using that field a lot… If you could make that field back within new version, that would be great!

We started using your plugin and we are using this shortcode on our page: [wpbooklist_shortcode action=”amazon”]. Everything works OK except that Previous button. We have 3 pages and when we press “Next Page” button twice, we go to the third (last) page and the “Next Page” button becomes disabled, what is OK. But this doesn’t work correctly in the opposite way: When we navigate to the first page again by pressing “Previous” button twice, after going on the first page, “Previous” button doesn’t become disabled. The same thing happens when we choose “Next Page 1” from drop down, after being on some other page that is not the first one… Can you please fix this? We are using the latest version of your plugin…

Since your last update not much is working.

I have a fresh install of WP 5.0.1

Book View Display Options
None of the options are saved.

Edit & Delete Books
The same thing None of the options are saved.

The Library view
The Sort by: does not work
The Search: does not work

I stopped checking at this point.

As it stands right now the plugin is unusable.

The book view pop-ups are not showing all of the fields that I’ve indicated (or deselected for inclusion). I have the books separated into five libraries. All of the libraries have the same Book View Display Options indicated on the backend but only one of the five libraries is populating all of the fields correctly. Please let me know what steps need to be taken to fix this issue.
