I installed WPMobile on my wordpress site. It works well with the application when I am in “test” mode.

But I noticed that as soon as I activate the “members” plugin ( access by login and password), at that moment, the application goes into error and displays:

ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Do you have any idea what’s blocking? and how to make a site private (with role) but compatible with WPMobile

First this is a great plugin. many thanks, however, can you please help, wile I was configuring the home and splash logo screen, at first it worked fine, however, when I changed the image according to the size and changed the time to 5000 the splash screen shows on the preview, but not on the mobile app test?

Did I messed up the time or something, I returned the previous image it is the same it does not show. This happend after I changed the time.

Will it work as suposed to on the actual APP or it is just a glitch on the testing platform?

We’ve had to enable CloudFlare’s under attack mode with the additional challenge. This is causing some odd issues in the mobile app version. The challenge page comes up, but if many times won’t let you “verify you are human” resulting in no access to the mobile app essentially.

Also as you can get in and browse pages eventually you get an error.

Hello, Apple is rejecting my IOS app saying at least the Microphone purpose string is not sufficiently clear for how it is used for privacy reasons. I looked in the Messaging plugin with PO Edit but cannot. Does this come from the Mobile App? Can you advise how to fix.

We now need a way to upload different icon sets to the app package. Since this is all done in the WP dashboard and there is only one icon upload, it seems new options are needed to allow for Dark Mode icon sets. With only one the icon is automatically removed all white and icons like mine lose all depth.

We still also need a way to generate a specific iOS Display Name so it is not truncated. We chatted about this about a year ago.

We are using the paid version of the plugin, but we have issues for the app where we have installed the Apus Chcharity and Apus Framework plugins.

The issue is that the the Apus plugin is only showing a plain shortcode on the app’s page.

Is it not compatible with the Apus Chcharity and Apus Framework plugins?

Situation: App opens in the top level of a multisite; it successfully chooses the proper page [file] for english or spanish or french. I have a “switch” in the toolbar (bottom of the app) to let a user move from one language to another

I have translation set up for menu and toolbar items. As far as I can determine, the menu/toolbar translations work well. If my user’s automatic language is spanish, then these items are spanish; if french, they are are french. otherwise english.

However, if a user begins in English and then displays the opening page for spanish, the menu and toolbar items remain in the default language — ie english.

Is there a way to allow a user to choose their language and override the detected language?

My app is in violation of not using current Android level. I see this question addressed elsewhere but I am not sure what I am doing wrong to not resolve.

I generate new app bundle from WP Mobile and then upload to Google Play and when it uploads it still shows: API levels 19+ Target SDK 4

I have tried several times with same result.

Do you have guidance?

I suddenly have a lot of errors with wpmobile.app like:
“Deprecated: strpos(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($haystack) of type string is deprecated… in functions.php” and some other php files of wordpress.
So I have deactivated all plugins and started wpmobile.app at first… the errors came back immediately. All errors are just gone if I only deactivate wpmobile.app.
For some months wpmobile.app ran perfectly, but now not.
Any ideas?

Google PlayStore has informed me that my app needs to target Android 14 (API level 34). Otherwise I’ll not be able to update. I don’t need to update, but I need to target the proper Android/API. And generate some new screenshots while I’m at it.

If I update, ie regenerate the app, will that work? I see that I must update the version as well, so I would go from version 1.0 to 1.1 if I can figure out how.

Is it possible the control the page where users are sent after logout on the app? Currently it just goes to website homepage. And that’s no good as I’ve make a specific page for the app to starts on. I want the app to go to that page on logout.

I’ve been trying to use the different shortcode from the app, and the QR code scanner always ends up crashing. Once the QR code scanner open, the view get stuck in portrait mode with no return button and after a few seconds without input, the app crash. Even if the app was not crashing it would be nice to have access to the return button in case user don’t actually want to use the scanner.

I also have another issue with the query strings added to the URL. They are interfering with my website pagination, for example /page/2 will end up sandwiched between 2 rows of query strings resulting in an error. eg: ?wpappninja=true&wpappninja_simul4=true&fakepwa=1#038;wpappninja_simul4=true&fakepwa=1/page/2/&wpappninja=true&wpappninja_simul4=true&wpappninja=true&wpappninja_simul4=true, so I was wondering if there is a way to exclude those query strings on some HTML elements?

I am using BrowserStack to make screenshots for Google and APPLE stories. Google not a problem. The .ipa files is required to upload and test app but the generator creates a .pem and automatically creates the app in APPLE store. Works very nice but not possible to make screenshots. Is there a way to download actual .ipa for screenshots or is there another way to take many screenshots. I do not own the necessary devices for this.

I have linked my shop (woocommerce) in the app, everything works fine… but the Buy Button in the shop is not displayed. It exists, but it is white and the font too. It is totally invisible so to say. When you know where the button is it is clickable. ?? On the website it works and also if I call up the shop via website on my mobile phone, then the button is visible, but not within the app. Someone knows how to solve this riddle? ??

Will the bandwidth usage of the app be charged against the hosting? I understand the files, images, and data served on the app come from the website, but up to what extent does it use up the bandwidth?

Does it cache the app’s screens locally within the app/phone and therefore less bandwidth. Is there a way to measure this?

I’m encountering an authentication issue when trying to generate an iOS app using your plugin. While updating the Android app works without issues, the iOS process fails. Here’s what I’ve done:

– Used my Apple account email and password for authentication.

– Set the team name to my personal name, as it appears in the top right of my Apple account (individual account type).

– Utilized the Team ID found under the Membership tab of the Apple Developer account.

– Generated and used an app-specific password.

_ No 2FA message is received on any devices.

Despite these steps, the app generation for iOS either fails with an “authentication failed” message after a long wait or immediately returns an error. I’ve attempted this process multiple times with the same result. Could you offer any guidance on resolving this?

I’ve been working with your plugin and find it incredibly useful. However, I have a question regarding potential modifications I am currently doing using Framework7.

I’ve modified a few default options and added inner popup and I was wondering if the adjustments made on my side will influence the content of the generated .apk files? I know that notifications made to the plugin files would not stick between updates, so I got my own way of injecting extra files.

I think step #4 is invalid since we can’t find an “App release?on right and click?Manage production“

Then we continued regardless, but we are still stuck at Step #7 where it says to select an APK file, but the actual Google Dev page is only asking for an AAB file. So we selected the AAB file regardless, but got the below error:
