My excerpt does not interpret html tags (in my case the line-break tag) anymore.
Open website and scroll down and see the </br> tags displayed (on mouse-over) instead of being interpreted.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

since the update, i have a 500 error code generated by my web server.
The server has too many requests and kill the process (on the main page !!). So it’s very problematic because the main page became unvailable.

]]>The excerpt looks just like the post because the html of the post is used to display the excerpt. My only request would be to have the setting for the length of the excerpt be in words rather than in characters. I think it looks very awkward having almost all the excerpts end in the middle of a word. Other than that, it works very well.
I am really torn between this plugin and Thumbnail For Excerpts, which presents a nice clean look with a nice thumbnail image (with a choice of its size and where to place it).
It is preset for how many words to display, in complete words, at around 60 words. It would be nice to be able to set this, but generally looks pretty good.
It does not preserve the html, which sometimes looks a bit awkward, but in most cases looks very good.
It has no “Read more” option which I would really like to see.

searching for an alternative to Advanced Excerpt, I found this one. It works nice but I have some problem: the “read more” text is in Chinese (well, I suppose it’s Chinese).
Another thing: I badly need to show only text in excerpt and no image. It could be nice to give this in option.
