Hello, I would like to know the plugins verify the trust of the user-agent value back way by reverse DNS request to be sure it a user-agent, and not someone tries to navigate on the website with a fake user-agent?
]]>Dear Sir or Madam,
Can this plugin be used to add user agent information into contact form submissions with a tag, ex. [WP-user-agent]? Such as adding the information into the emails AND into the spreadsheet exported with Flamingo?
Many thanks,
Vincent
]]>Install both. Go to comments, and try to sort them, it doesn’t work. Look at the json that it gets – you’ll see that wp-useragent injects extra html that breaks the json that the wpDiscuz plugin expects to receive.
]]>Users use the UC browser, but the test shows ubrowser.png instead of ucbrowser.png
]]>hello
there is a problem:
when enable this plugin and when reply a comment in admin area, when reply submit you can not see that reply
wp-content/plugins/wp-useragent/img/16/net/android.png.
404 not found, I use cp android-webkit.png android.png fixed it.
Hello,
Regarding the new feature in 1.0.9 “WP-UserAgent output is now wrapped by a div with classname “wp-useragent”.”:
Could you please remove this div wrapping (or make it optional) when the output location is set to custom? Anyone who uses custom output will probably use some own wrapper already, and at least for me this new div breaks the layout in a way that a display:inline (or inline-block) can’t fix.
(And while commenting out that line 277 in wp-useragent.php works, of course, it only lasts until the next update.)
]]>You should consider adding country flags to this plugin…
]]>Compatibility for the wpDiscuz plugin – WordPress Comments please.
If I use both plugins together wpDiscuz presentation is greatly affected and gets really bad.
I hope I can help and give support to this plugin.
Pd. Not recognize if you use ManjaroLinux.
]]>Hi there!
I noticed that the plugin is detecting Windows Phone 8.1 as iPhone iOS 7.0.3.
Can you fix it, please?
Thanks,
Igor
]]>Hi,
I would like User Agent info displayed only at WordPress comments administration list, not public.
As I understand, I need to insert function
<?php useragent_output_custom(); ?>
somewhere into /wp-admin/edit-comments.php
But I can’t find where to insert it in this file.
Thank you for help.
Alexander
]]>I rated this plugin 5 stars and I recorded that the plugin works with the installed version of WordPress I’m using.
The readme.txt file, associated with this plugin, only shows compatibility with WordPress, up to version 3.0.3 while the compatibility information displayed on the plugin directory page shows it is compatible to WordPress 3.0.4
I’m wondering why is there no procedure in place to make sure the readme.txt file is kept up to date. There are thousands of WordPress plugins available in the plugin directory, yet only a limited few have an up do date readme.txt file.
If you read my WordPress Plugins and the readme.txt File article, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
]]>As best as I can tell, your plug-in does a great job of detecting which browser and which OS is being used to post a comment. However, I’m a little confused as to why it can detect the differences between Debian, Ubuntu, Xubuntu, & Kubuntu, but can’t tell the difference between Debian 64-bit, Ubuntu 64-bit, Xubuntu 64-bit & Kubuntu 64-bit.
Your plug-in simply lumps these all together as “GNU/Linux x64” instead of differ enciating between each of them.
]]>I would like to be able to control some of the visual elements of this plug-in via your plug-in’s settings area.
If you visit https://www.sapphiresolutionsltd.com/2009/07/01/installing-adobe-flash-player-for-your-debian-system/ you can see how the information provided by your plug-in runs together with the beginning of the actual comment.
I would like to add a break after the last line of code in which the plug-in reports information.
It would also be cool if we could control the background color of just the div tag for your plug-in via your plug-in’s settings area.
All this is just a suggestion to help your plug-in be more user friendly and beneficial to those who use it.
I do like your plug-in and it does a pretty good job.
