Hello,
I would like to say think you for this great plugins. I really like the tabs and how you made the avatar to change the profile image.
I’m trying to hide these two tab ‘Options and Permissions’, do you know what function I can use to hide them?
Many thanks,
Amine
No billing and shipping address or am I missing something?

Anh somehow when the user change password of their own accounts (admin included), the password is saved in plain text in database. If I use another admin account to change password of others, this bug does not happen.
I am running on WP 5.8 BedRock.
]]>Hi,
first i have to say, great Plug-In !
When we activate the Plug-In, the Billing adresse and Shipping adresses from WooCommerce are gone. How can we ad them in your plugin as a tab?

]]>Without your plugin enabled, I have 58 scripts that are added. With your plugin enabled, I have 38. This plugin effectively makes it impossible to use third party plugins which rely on JavasScript anywhere in the user profile section.
Can this be fixed, or can you point me in the direction of where this is controlled in your plugin so I can correct it?

Hi, grat plugin, but there is no way to add new fields. I read in your older FAQ that you would add that in the next version, this was 2 years ago. Is your plugin still maintained or did you loose interest? Please let us all know, cheers, H
]]>Hi there,
I like your plugin; it gives a nice editform. But… I have a bilingual site where my registered users need to be able to write a bio in multiple languages. WordPress supports this out of the box (when I use Polylang), but installing your plugin, I only get a single language biography field for the user.
Could this be changed?

I am attempting to add select2 boxes that fetch information via ajax to a User Profile screen. I constantly get “The results could not be loaded” when attempting to use these fields on your screens.
When using this in the native wp user profile screen, the fields work just fine.
]]>Thank you so much for a well written plugin.
I have spent some time diving into the code and I could not be happier with how the plugin is built. Thank you sharing it!
I have a quick question on how to hook another plugin into adding meta boxes to a section. When I create a profile section class as shown in the code below, what is the exact filter name that would be used to hook into parent::add_meta_boxes
?
The section is created like so:
class WP_User_Profile_Workplace_Section extends WP_User_Profile_Section {
public function add_meta_boxes( $type = '', $user = null ) {
// Allow third party plugins to add metaboxes
parent::add_meta_boxes( $type, $user );
...
}
}
If I add any metabox within the add_meta_boxes function above, I can hook into the before or after filters with no problems using something like:
add_action( 'wp_user_workplace_address_metabox_after', 'my_metabox_function', 10, 2 );
I am simply not having any success plugging into parent::add_meta_boxes
Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
Hey there,
When a user goes to edit profile they click into …/wp-admin/USERS.php?page=profile and see their profile tab, if they click on another tab, they can’t go back to the Profile Tab.
The link is now …/wp-admin/ADMIN.php?page=profile and they get a ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’ error.
]]>Hey there! Nice work on the plugin.
I’m getting a few notices/warnings around the IS_PROFILE_PAGE constant while on the front-end.
“Use of undefined constant IS_PROFILE_PAGE – assumed ‘IS_PROFILE_PAGE’ in /example.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-profiles/wp-user-profiles/includes/sections.php on line 77”
I think this may be due to wp_user_profiles_register_other_section being hooked onto ‘init’ but I don’t believe IS_PROFILE_PAGE is defined yet at that point. I may be wrong.
I’m also getting some headers already sent (by the same function) warnings when trying to register new users via Restrict Content Pro registration form.

]]>I know that at some point the plan is to add a “junk drawer” Other tab to the Profiles for 3rd party plugins to have their stuff dumped into it (per this topic), but in the meantime, is there anywhere where we can find documentation for how to create our own tabs so we can manually move options for plugins we’re using, or adding custom sections as part of our own themes and plugins?
In my case, I’d like to be able to move the Yoast SEO settings part of the User profile either into its own SEO tab, or adding it to the bottom of the Profile page in an SEO metabox.
PS – This plugin is sooooo much nicer than the current default WordPress Profile admin page and I kinda wish it were part of Core…
]]>Looking good.
I would like to see it display my user profile data contained in custom fields in wp_usermeta.
Personally, I have 96 such extra fields – some lend themselves to single-line input boxes, others to textareas.
]]>Hello ,

How do I do that?
Hello John James Jacoby,
Would it be possible to have the WP User Profiles plugin translated? If you could provide .mo .po files I could make a Dutch translation for you.
I am happy to contribute.
Kind Regards, wp-fred
]]>YES, Finally someone did something about the poor and ugly user profile! I realy like the tabbed form, is very clean and simple.
PROBLEM:
Maybe I am overlooking something, but the plugin does not seems to work properly with other plugins I realy need, like:
– Restrict Author Posting
– WP User Avatar
The user-profile settings these plugins normaly have, does not show up in the tabs. Hopefully the developer can solve this problem.
So for now I have to de-activate the plugin.
Kind Regards, wp-fred
