We are getting email notifications for successful logins, but, not getting any notifications for failed logins.
]]>Hi,
I just installed this for the first time, and it does not seem to work for me. I tried logins almost 10 times now, and only once did I receive a notification. That was when I logged in with my own admin account.
Perhaps I’m not understanding this corre
ctly? Does this plugin only send notifications to the users who logged in?
But then, when a login fails, who is supposed to receive the notification?
I received none, neither on my admin email, nor on two others that I entered.
I’m trying to use Login Notifier on one child site of a multisite.
Thanks!
Ralf
]]>Hello there,
Could you please introduce support Pushover API?
]]>Hi,
I use the latest version of this plugin on wp 5.6.2.
It sends emails about successful logins, to both admin and user.
But none to either admin or user if the login failed when the email address if of a valid wp user but the password is wrong.
All plugins options are set to “yes”.
I am noting that the plugin of “WP Cerber Security” is also installed and counting failed logins to block bad sources after several failed logins
]]>Dear Support,
is there any hook or function that i can use in my theme function or change the content of user/login email received.
Thanks.
]]>Hi,
I use the latest WP and the latest version of this plugin.
All was working well until I changed the default email address, at settings > general > “administrative email address”.
Now, after login – I get two email – one to the former email address and one to the new address… it is like the plugin sends to both.
Can you check?
Thanks, Eitan
]]>Dear Team,
User Login notification not working on multiple users, i tried with comma separated but no luck. Please advise
Currently works only individual user.
]]>Can I set this plugin so it only notifies 1 admin and not all admins?
]]>Thank you for this plugin.
Is there a way to change the FROM field in the email notifications? Currently the emails are sending from WordPress “[email protected]” and it is throwing off the spam filters.
Thank you!
]]>I’ve tried this plugin on 6 different sites. For “failed login”, notifying both user and admin works. But on 4 of the sites, “successful login” only notifies user, not admin. On 2 of the sites, notify admin for “successful login”.
In other words, notify admin of login doesn’t seem to work on 4 of 6 sites, while all the other options work.
I don’t think any of the other plugins I’m using affects the login process.
I also checked spam folders.
]]>Hi
The plugin works fine for me, but can you provide a function we the content of the emails can be set.
Best Regards
Michael
Hi I am not getting any emails sent when a user fails to login, to admin or user
]]>Hi,
It looks like a bug – if there is a successful login by a user who is the first, built-in admin user of WP but when it was created it was given a name different from “admin”, then this plugin doesn’t send an email for successful login, only for failed login.
A workaround for this is enabling the plugin setting of email delivery of an email to the user for successful login event.
]]>Hi,
Please add a notification option also for non-existing users names login attempts (which of course should always fail as there are no such users).
It will help to quickly find out that someone is trying to brute-force the login page, much earlier before they may succeed…
Thanks.
Is this plugin compatible with OneLogin SAML SSO?
