I actually uninstalled this plugin because I didn’t understand it. The power of this Free Plugin is nothing short of Amazing! Like anything worthwhile there’s a bit of a learning curve without much available how to set it up and understand its functionality. Create taxonomy plugins for custom categories and this will allow users to create custom posts without having access to the backend of your WordPress site. This plugin accomplishes what would have taken months or maybe years of coding in the past. This plugins functionality alone makes it worth a Five Star Rating! All that being said it’s important to know 2 things to save you grief, the first being it uses V2 rCaptcha which didn’t work with Cloudfare CDN, and the other is each widget you place on a form has very important settings within each widget. If your using Elemnetor Pro and create a Single Page Post template it is used with the taxonomy to Auto Generate Post Categories for users. This plugin may be a little primitive compared to many others but that’s because it doesn’t have the large demand because it’s so specialized. I made reference to what may had sounded like a complaint, but my intentions are strictly to help anyone using it to better understand it and avoid difficulties. I built an incredible site with hundreds of pages ready to create 1000’s of pages of Automated posts in one month with this FREE plugin making a huge contribution in making the site functional for its intended purpose. You have to be a contractor or subcontractor to join but you can get the feel of the flow as site user without posting anything. I absolutely love this plugin!

I created a four-page registration form using the WP User Frontend Pro plugin and have already published it.
I set the URL of the second page of the registration form to be redirected to after the first page is successfully submitted, as shown in Figure 1.
However, when I tried to register, after filling out the first page and clicking submit, a message popped up saying “You are already logged in!”, as shown in Figure 2.
At this time, I was trying to register on another computer and had not performed any login operations before.
But after clicking submit, the message “You are already logged in!” still popped up.
I tried to change the URL of the second page to Baidu’s website: https://www.baidu.com.
When registering on the front end, clicking submit on the first page will automatically go to the URL https://www.baidu.com.

I suggest you add a function to export and save the settings, and import them for use, because the settings of this plugin are too complicated.

This plug-in saved me so much time on a client project, and so far hasn’t conflicted with any of my go-to plug-ins I use with every project. Also, I really love that I was able to move and edit files in my child theme. Love that flexibility and control. The plugin is not working anymore for months, on the latest upgrade my website was showing fatal error because of this plugin. I had to disable it.
I wrote them support tickets 2 months ago, i wrote them on facebook, emails, etc… no answer!

I’ve never been so disappointed by customer service. They simply ignore bugs in their poorly coded plugin. It seems to be characteristic of “Indian code,” and it’s evident in their work. When you submit something for them to fix, they only respond if they have a video recorded via Loom. If they don’t have one, they just ignore you. Even after creating a Loom video to demonstrate the bugs in their code (I had to switch from The Events to a custom ACF solution to get anything to work, despite their claims of compatibility with both—it’s not), they persist. There’s a significant bug where if you have an ACF field formatted as d.m.Y, their plugin can’t interpret it. After sending it, it defaults to the actual date. Do you know what they did? They simply changed the format to m.d.y and told me it was fixed… I don’t know who works at this company, but seriously, consider using another plugin. And I’m not even talking about the other fixes—they’ve been “fixing” them for over four months.

After using this plugin extensively over a good period of time, about 2 years, I find that it works really well with no unexpected surprises. It offers good customizability and have a lot of important functions to support professional frontend publishing. It works really, really well.
Is there functions that i miss, yeah, sure. But I wish it came with an Porsche as well ?? I can’t get it all I guess. But all in all, it’s really is the best frontend publishing tool out there.
I will hassle weDevs for the added functionality that I miss, I suggest you all do the same. Maybe we can push them to make it even better.

It’s a good plugin but with a lot of bugs! I have contacted wp user frontend support several times because there are bugs that are not corrected, in particular I advise you not to install the latest version of WPUF V4.0.3 and the new version of WPUF PRO V4 .0.5. I installed it twice and each time I had to go back and reinstall the old versions. I reported the problem to them but no response to date.

Almost perfect but one thing makes it unsafe IMO. I need public front end posting for a unique style of website but this plugin only supports v2 of Google captcha and not v3 with better effectiveness. Because these are new posts and not comments I can’t find a way to get spam filtering in place. This plugin doesn’t offer even basic keyword based filtering to auto trash new posts. Preferably it would support cloudflare turnstile and captcha v3. One spammer has found the site after a week and is attempting to post links to illegal content going right past the captcha v2.

Completely broke the registration on all of the sites I had these installed on. Clients are messaging me in the middle of the night understandably upset that their websites are broken. And I didn’t even update them or anything. The plugin just stopped working. And if you update, they still don’t work because the update is buggy. Which is evidenced by the fact they’ve released several updates in a matter of hours. But they still don’t have the situation under control.
I have supported this plugin for years, and also the paid version. But this is awful. I will definitely have to find a more reliable plugin.

I was able to get the FREE version to do more than I could with the paid professional version. I had high hopes for this plugin but when I paid for it it seemed to mess up the free version. Now I am unable to even create a form for a user to use on the front end. That was what the whole thing was supposed to be able to do and it can not. You have to turn on all sorts of modules that are also very confusing. The help menu’s are also very confusing. I have been working for over an hour with no success. Deleted everything and reinstalled and no luck. Should have read the reviews first.
