I am not going to rate this or leave any review because conceptually the plugin in is good but are you aware that it is incompatible with the Rank Math plugin (Astra theme, RankMath, whenever WP to Diaspora is activated the Rank Math stops working.
]]>Hello !
We know alternate social network are a lot, and decentralized systems cause having multi networks …
It will be good if we could have more than one account to autopost ?
]]>Hi Augusto,
I have been using your WP to Diapsora* pluging for years now. Very grateful! Yesterday it stopped working altogether, while I am not aware of any changes to my blog settings or WordPress version.
Am I right that you will not update the plugin anymore?
If so, I quite understand. It is a great pity though.
Thanks a lot.

Hello,
Is this plugin compatible with WordPress 5.3.1? Or plans to make it compatible?
Right now I’m seeing “Compatible up to 4.9.0”.
Thank you very much!
]]>Hello,
I’ve been told that the plugin publishes on diaspora* when a post is edited. Is this the case with the current version? Is there a way to change this behaviour?
Thank you!
]]>Hello,
Is it possible to set a few days delay between the blog post’s publication and the matching diaspora* auto-post?
In our use case, we often need to fix a post after it’s been published. Eg, someone publishes, and the day after, another editor fixes typos, featured images, etc. So before we tell everyone we posted something, we’d rather have the time to clean it up. (And at the same time, there’s not always someone available to review the drafts before they’re published, so we’d rather publish an “unclean” post than no post at all.)
For RSS feeds, I was able to delay publication (like this: https://www.isitwp.com/delay-rss-feed/, in functions.php). But I believe your plugin doesn’t use RSS to check on new posts. Does it?
Thank you!
]]>Hello,
Just after installing the plugin, I see that the “Publish on disapora*” setting is unchecked in the new metabox of the post editor.
Does that mean I’ll have to tick this setting for every new post for them to be published?
Thank you!
]]>Hello,
WP to diaspora has been of great help to me for a long time, but it suddenly stopped working with Gutenberg. It used to work with earlier versions, but it seems that, after adding the Gutenberg extension (version 6.8), it’s doing nothing.
In edit mode, WP to diaspora shows in the Document sidebar, but all check boxes and radio buttons are inactive and cannot be clicked.
Any idea on how to solve it (besides deactivating Gutenberg)?
I’m on the latest WP version (5.24).
]]>Hello
I just use WP to Diaspora now but i have an issue because my artcile is posted twice !
The only one method i use to prevent it (no ok each time i do this …) is to disable tags and refresh diaspora aspects (tag ?) as dscribed in my picture below
]]>Cross-posting to Diaspora was working fine until WordPress upgrade to version 5.03. Still installed and figured but cross-posting fails without any error message of any sort — it just does not happen. Great plugin that I hope can get working again. Any help would be appreciated.
]]>I would like to securize my wordpress website that is in production. But when I have changed the SALT keys in the wp-config.php file, crossposting didn’t work anymore. So I restored my original SALT and crossposting worked again. Do you have a solution for that ?

]]>Hello!
I’m trying to connect my wordpress (4.9.8) to a diaspora account on this pod: https://framasphere.org. But the plugin give me that error:
Login failed. Check your login details.
Login details are corrects and put the certificate bundle into the root directory of the plugin doesn’t change anything.
My problem seems to be the same as this one. My PHP version is 7.1 and I can’t upgrade to the 7.2 for now. The curl extension is 7.38.0 (all details are here).
Do you have an idea to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance!
]]>Third suggestion (not at all very important). Could you add an option to select “banned tags” in settings. For instance if one programs an article that must be “featured”, one must use a tag like “featured” or something corresponding to the translation in the language of the website… this tag is just useless to spread to diaspora.
]]>Second suggestion. Could you add an option to enable the integration of the “feature image” of an article spread to Diaspora. Pictures can draw more attention ??
]]>Hi,
nice plugin. I’have 3 Suggestions of improvement. First one, could you add an option to add a “# ” at the beginning of the title of the article spread to Diaspora. This would add the possibility to have a big title.
Hi,
I installed the plug-in “WordPress to diaspora” the first time.
The installation and setup worked fine and I did a first post to diaspora.
The post is published on: https://pod.geraspora.de/posts/fb9262b001d501361cd2101b0e8ace24
Followinf links will not be resolved:
– the images from the blog post / slider
– the link to Wikipedia
Thanks for your support.
]]>Hi there,
I recently changed pod from Joindiaspora.com to Framasoft.org, and unfortunatly the login of WP to Diaspora fail on the setting menu, and give me that error :
Failed to initialise connection to pod “https://framasphere.org”. cURL error 35: error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure
Is there a way to get that working again?
Thanks.
]]>Hi,
Happy New Year, Feliz ano novo.
Since December 31 my scheduled posts are not going to Diaspora any more. Suddenly I have to do that manually again.
The only recent change that I remember is an update to the plugin Really Simple SSL.
You would make me very happy if you could help me out here.

Hi Augusto,
Your plugin WordPress to Diaspora worked perfectly until the last update (1.5). Since then it stopped altogether. I have already saved all settings again and deactivated an activated the plugin without result. There is no debugging info.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bert Ernste
Hello, ou melhor olá!
I’m quite excited with your plugin!
I installed it in my own WP installation, v. 4.2.2.
When I introduce my diaspora* login info (@diasp.eu) I’m able to get my aspects listed, but I still get the error
Couldn't connect to "https://diasp.eu": Login failed.
in fact, nothing is posted on my diaspora stream.
What am I doing wrong?
My login info must be correct, since I get all the aspects listed, so the problem must lie somewhere else.
I hope you can help me
Cheers
Patribus
Hello ??
There is a little bug. If a post image has a caption like an image description the published text on diaspora looks like at the beginning of the post text:
[caption id="attachment_3247" align="alignleft" width="300"] for example.
This happens on post excerpts texts. (Did not test it on full text feature for the publishing).
It’s not a big bug but kinda annoying because it makes the Article Text “ugly” at the beginning of the text.
]]>In the last version entry in the changelog (1.3.1) I see “Security improved”, can you provide more details about this?
]]>Hello,
I found another bug. Everytime I put a post in shedule to publish it later (like 15 – 60 minutes later) and I’ve marked “Share on Diaspora”, the post will be double posted on my pod.
I dunno if something is going on with w3 total cache and your plugin but on a post publish my page cache will be purged before it will be shared on social networks. I am using jetpack sharing to share it on g+, fb, twitter on publish, there are no double posts only on Diaspora over your plugin.
When I don’t mark “share on Diaspora” on publish, there will be no double post when I gonna use “share on diaspora” + save post after the official publish.
]]>Hello,
I was trying that wonderful plugin, because our Blog is using Diaspora on wk3 Pod.
The Problem is, when ever an articel is published and it’s pushed to the diaspora pod, the wp to diaspora plugin puts )** at the end of the article URL.
Example: /2015/02/article-title/)**
With those )** at the end of the URL, my post is not available when diaspora ppl clicking the URL (404 page not found)
I was using the options “Show full article: NO” and “Link at the end: posted at”
On other social media networks, our sharing is working (g+, twitter etc.).
]]>Please support custom post types!
Thanks a lot!
