When this plugin is activated and any gutenberg page I add to my posts, my homepage (which contains shortcode for wp-tiles) becomes disabled. No longer loads or is editable. Went through hell until I traced the problem to this plugin.
]]>Hi guys I have been facing this issue since the last updates, the only way this plugin works is if I use the latest Version it works, but in the last versions it doesn’t work.
I set the Tiles at October 29, 10:50 am in the editor, but when I see it in the place where all the posts are in this case is a custom post type, I can see a different style.
The webpage I nee help with: https://tinyurl.com/386m6x3f
Any Kind of Help would be Appreciated.
]]>Hello
I am working on a site set up by someone else. they used tiles and the layout is nice so I’d like to keep it but I cannot access any of the settings except the Tile Designer page of the plugin so I cannot get to the settings for: Grids, Animations and Colors, Byline Content, Image Settings or Utility
if I try to access the buttons the links are set up this way
https://mysite.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-tiles#Images
the #item link doesn’t have an anchor as far as I can see
What i want to be able to do is exclude pages from the tiles as they are admin and only necessary under certain circumstances.
I was hoping I could do this in the settings but I can’t access for the above reason.
Any help would be really appreciated.
]]>Hi. I know you’ve said you’re no longer developing this plugin, but I’m really hoping you’ll make this one small exception and I’m hoping it will be a small, simple fix.
We absolutely love your WP Tiles plugin and it has featured very well on some of our sites. Now, of course, WordPress 5.5 has come out and we have to keep everything up to date. The problem is that after we update to WordPress 5.5, WPBakery Page Builder’s backend editor stops working. We’ve found the issue gets fixed if we disable the WP Tiles plugin and we’ve found this to be consistent across all the sites that we have WP Tiles on.
I’m guessing it’s something to do with one of WP Tiles’ functions or the way it’s being called or something.
I don’t suppose you could possibly please have a look???
P.S. – I’ve just been looking in the console window in the WordPress page editor and it looks like it’s something to do with the vafpress framework; appears it might be trying to run jQuery scripts before jQuery has actually been loaded.
Uncaught TypeError: $(…).live is not a function
Uncaught TypeError: this[binder] is not a function
Uncaught TypeError: vp.init_ace_editor is not a function
The above errors are all coming from files in the vafpress framework.
]]>I have had tiles in my sidebar for my home page and all posts for years. I have not made a change to the settings in years. But now all tiles appear to be broken. On the home page, they don’t show the title and are weirdly shaped. On posts, it shows the titles, but not in the overlay like they always have, and they are also not confirming to the size/shape they always have. Has something changed?

In case anyone is looking for this : WP Tiles is breaking the display of Popup Maker settings box in the popup editor (classic and block editor).
]]>The current version of WP Tiles conflicts with recent versions of the Events Calendar. When I add a new event in the events calendar drop downs are out of order. E.g. the calendar grid to select a date, the drop down for start and end time, the drop down for location. When I deactivate WP Tiles the problem is solved.
Is it possible to update WP Tiles to solve this conflict? Or is an other solution available?
Hi there,
I’d like to be able to exclude a child category of the queried category. How could I do this?
The reason is that I sometimes want to include a post in my monthly roundup email that I do not want displayed on this page, https://tangoforge.com/blog/
Thanks,
Violet

]]>I am having trouble choosing grids other than “News” for my image gallery. If I choose “Plain” or “Simple” my page seems to still only display the “News” layout. Is there a way to display other grids?
]]>I have a feeling this may be a long shot but just in case anyone has any ideas…
I have set “Different template for text-only tiles?” to include as simple additional line of text eg. “This is a text tile” underneath the title.
This works fine on initial page load but on clicking “Load More” the additional tiles loaded show “1” in place of the text eg.
“Title
1”
Instead of…
“Title
This is a text tile”
I can only assume the requery which runs to add additional tiles is not finding the relevant field but not sure how to fix or debug.
If anyone has any suggestions, I’d be hugely grateful.
With many thanks in advance.
]]>Hi,
I have noticed the plugin relies on the the capability to “manage_options” it would be great if we were able to control which user roles can amend tiles.
Is there any way we can allow Editors access to WP-Tiles without granting them this capability?
Kind Regards
Hi,
Would it be possible to have the ability to add a WooCommerce category ID into the tiles, so:
[wp-tiles grids="News" id="64,1301,577,182"]
ID’s used:
64: Page (Works)
1303: WooCommerce Product Category (Doesn’t Work)
577: WooCommerce Product (Works)
182: Post (Works)
We basically want to manually specify what shows on the tiles as we’re using this on our homepage, we love the fact you can mix! We just would like to use WooCommerce Product Categories.
Many Thanks in Advance!
]]>Hi,
I tried setting up WP Tiles, but somehow the images are not showing. It works, if I change the background url of each tile in my browsers developer tools. But it does not work when the images are decoded with base 64 like:
style=”background-image: url(data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7);”
is it possible to have the plugin use the normal image urls instead of the decoded ones?
Thanks in advance
]]>Hello, I found a bug related to different grid for mobile.
I am using PHP 7.2 and WordPress 5.02 and everything works fine except showing different grid for mobile. I traced bug to wrong data being passed to $opts array with key small_screen_grid in WPTiles.PHP. Instead of grid number or title, the grid character array is passed.
Best regards

]]>Hi there,
Anyone know how to override the following code that gets added to every tile? I’ve bought an SSL certificate for my website, and these urls are all that stops it from getting the green padlock:
itemtype=”https://schema.org/CreativeWork”
need to change to:
itemtype=”https://schema.org/CreativeWork”
OR
itemtype=”//schema.org/CreativeWork”
Thanks for you help in advance.
]]>Only some of my galleries need to have something in byline_template. Those are the ones which link to posts. I also use galleries to display images and in this case I often do not want any text there.
in my shortcode I include
byline_template=””
despite this it was picking up part of the text from my cta box and putting it into every byline. only when I added captions did it stop doing this and display the captions, but actually I want no byline AT ALL. The shortcode above used to work fine for me, but now it’s stopped functioning in that way. How do I fix it?
Thank you,
Violet
One of the best plugins out there, so I want to start by thanking you for it, and also hoping that this support is still active.
I have my tiles hidden in an expandable accordion section. When the accordion is opened, the grid, which is in a column of four across, starts as a stack on the left side, and then expands across the width of the site. Once this animation has occurred it won’t occur again when the accordion is opened or closed until page refresh.
I only want to stop this ‘spreading’ of the tiles occurring, and just want them laid out statically on initial reveal.
I have tried disabling all animations from the settings, and have placed the following tags into the tile code:
animate=”false”?animate_init=”false”?animate_resize=”false”?animate_template=”false”
But nothing seems to work. The site is behind a maintenance wall so I can’t share it, but I hope you can help.
Thank you!

]]>I have seen this question asked a few times now and not answered. There doesn’t seem to be a way of setting the image height (to suit a specific aspect ratio).
I tried this in CSS but it made the rows overlap as their heights seem to be calculated during the grid build.
I also tried doubling a row in the grid builder, but that just made the images too large in height.
There needs to be a way of setting the height of each row to preserve certain aspect ratios. Does anyone have a solution?

Please, help.
“Different grid on small screens?” is set to yes. And everything was set right.
But now it just doesn’t work. I even set “Small Screen Breakpoint” to 900.
What do you think it may be?
Please, check photoshua.com
It’s the gallery on the main page that doesn’t collapse to 2 column grid. But it used to when I first installed and set it up.
Any ideas?
